The app hasn’t worked for Garmin since the major change. Keeps saying I should follow the steps to fix my sync issues, am getting tired of doing this. There have been a few attempts at fixing the bugs, but Garmin still DOESN’T work. It would have been nice if they had done proper testing before the major update.

It won’t sync with my garmin even though it says it does. The support chat never works and keeps saying try again and it over all is not worth the time after trying everything suggested to get things to work. If I didn’t have to have this for fun work activities and challenges I would delete it

I love this app. What a great way to incorporate friends in activities to encourage each other to walk, regardless of the type of you have - Garmin, Apple Watch, Samsung etc. everyone can participate! The only improvement I suggest working on is the connectivity piece. I’ve tried to sync and for three hours. It doesn’t work (that’s with my Garmin app, syncing my watch to the app, I still have issues and it doesn’t update. This can lead to me losing out challenges.)

This is great because Fitbit dropped challenges. However, the app is very laggy and slow, and also a suggestion would be to incorporate notifications telling you about the progress of the challenges. For example, Fitbit will send things like “user passed you” or “get 90 more steps to pass user”. Also, the 3 day “calculation” time after challenges is way too long. Fitbit gave users 8 hours or something like that to sync after the challenge ended and that’s perfect. At most, a day should be given.

In this pandemic time, with my team we have decided to challenge ourselves by walking 10 000 steps a day for 30 days. This app is just perfect since you can create challenge, teams, chat with your team mate. On top of that you can convert other activities into step and manually add then in StrideKick. The support team is very responsive and answer all your questions in a timely manner. Aubrey is a GREAT Support Hero!
