Slow to load, poor interface, regularly crashes, stuck with an order in a basket that won’t load for me to place the order nor will it load for me to delete it from the basket that’s making it completely useless at present

The app is completely useless when it comes to using it to place orders. Continually erroring when I’m trying to go to basket after adding the items I want.

Repeated the same steps around 4 times and it simply doesn’t work. How is this sort of thing not tested?

Keeps crashing whenever you try to redeem a reward - if you don’t want customers to use the rewards then don’t put it there. It’s so cheap to put some rewards every now and then but got error when try to check out.

For days now I haven’t been able to log in. Either says my password is wrong, or an error has occurred. Try to reset password and the email with the code takes ages to arrive and won’t accept when entered. Must be missing out on so many points. No point having an app that cannot be used

After moving to the new app, my old account can’t be used anymore. It keeps telling me that I’m not in the same country and forcing me to log out. Then I register a new account. But every time I add a sandwich to bag, it will tell me that something went wrong and keep asking me to push the “refresh my bag” button. If you can’t maintain a new app, why you decide to drop the old one?

Updated app today to place order. Ok for first 2 items but then it doesn’t let you get into the basket to checkout. 

Deleted app & reinstalled. Same happened. I was out at the time so did same again once I was home and tested it but the same again. Got message ‘something went wrong’ refresh or try later but it just gets stuck. 

Makes it impossible to order confidently from so very disappointed today.

App is so buggy and does not work and I never have been able to get it to. When I go to pay it says the operator has declined on every card I try. And it doesn’t let me view the bag this is before and after the new update. I have deleted this now. Sort it out Subway!

I installed then made an account for the app. It got me to verify email and set a password
Then immediately said “This account has been closed” and logged me out.
Tried a second time later and it now logs me out immediately as soon as I log in.
I guess that’s that?

Subway’s service has hit rock bottom, and their latest app update is the final straw. As a long-time customer, I’ve witnessed a steady decline in quality and customer care, but this takes the cake.
First off, their reward program is a joke. You’d think after years of loyalty, they’d show some appreciation, but no. The points accumulate at a snail’s pace, and the rewards are as measly as their vegetable portions.
Speaking of vegetables, it’s like they’re rationing them for the apocalypse. Every time I ask for extra lettuce or tomatoes, the staff act like I’m requesting gold bars. It’s ridiculous - I’m paying for a sandwich, not just bread and a whisper of toppings.
But the real kicker? Their recent app update. Suddenly, all my hard-earned free subs vanished into thin air. No warning, no explanation, no replacement. It’s as if they decided to wipe the slate clean of any customer goodwill.

what happened to subway? Food quality through the floor, service in restaurants has become embarrassingly bad, classic sandwiches removed from the menu with the expectation people will add extras at extortionate markups and on top of that the rewards system was butchered. Is it a wonder why Subway is in total free fall?

My disabled son loves Subway and accrued loads of points which he lost when the switch from card to app was made. I mean he lost loads of points and we didn’t know he would. He is deaf and cannot speak or hear but I’ve had to sort out a smart phone for him with data so he can collect his points at subway (and use for a couple of other places too).  Then he hasn’t been able to get his points because every time he goes there’s an app update and his support workers haven’t updated it. Then they don’t know his Apple ID which is required. Utter nightmare tbh.
