Wenn Sie wissen, wann Sie sich vor der Sonne schützen sollten, wo immer Sie sich gerade auf der Welt befinden, können Sie darauf vertrauen, dass Sie die Sonne sicher genießen und das Risiko von krebsauslösenden Hautschäden minimieren können.  

Mit den täglich von der SunSmart Global UV-App an Ihr Smartphone gesendeten Sonnenschutzzeiten und einfach zu befolgenden Ratschlägen zum Schutz Ihrer Haut ist Sicherheit in der Sonne kein Rätselraten mehr.  

Was sind Sonnenschutzzeiten? 

Sonnenschutzzeiten stehen in direktem  Zusammenhang mit dem UV-Index, und werden empfohlen, wenn die UV-Strahlung laut Vorhersage bei einem Wert von 3 oder darüber liegt. Das entspricht den UV-Index-Empfehlungen der WHO, und es ist erwiesen, dass es bei UV-Strahlung ab dieser Stärke wahrscheinlicher ist, dass die Haut schneller geschädigt wird.  

Die App wird Sie benachrichtigen, dass Sonnenschutz zu bestimmten Zeiten erforderlich ist, wenn der UV-Index-Wert laut Vorhersage bei 3 oder höher liegt, so dass Sie Ihre Haut entsprechend schützen können.  

Inwiefern unterscheidet sich diese App von anderen UV-Apps?

Ich stehe im strömenden Regen, das wird sich laut Vorhersage heute nicht ändern.
Trotzdem bekomme ich den Hinweis zu unbedingtem Sonnenschutz ...... für Dresden, was über 100km entfernt liegt.
Mein Ort ist perfekt eingetragen und wird mit Temperatur und Regen korrekt angezeigt.
Ich will auch nicht nach Dresden...
Was soll also der Unfug?

Komme auf den Startbildschirm und dann Feierabend. 
Egal welche Stadt ich eingebe, es erscheint rein gar nichts.

Man kann die App gar nicht nutzen, da es weder eine Lokalisierung gibt noch die Möglichkeit die Stadt einzugeben und zu speichern. Man kann die Stadt zwar eingeben, aber dann passiert nichts.

Idee ist prima und mit einem Widget richtig nützlich… ABER: Wettervorhersage wird nur für die nächsten beiden Tage angezeigt und der Hinweis wann Sonnenschutz nötig ist, scheint aktuell noch völlig wetterunabhängig zu sein (bei ganztags Gewitter und Schauern braucht es sicher nicht von 9:20-17:10 Sonnenschutz - wie am Tag davor an dem es bei 30 Grad ganzen Tag Sonnenschein gab)
