This app is so cleverly done. It’s really enjoyable how it feels interactive. One is not just reading a story, but fully immersed in it. I’ve never seen a similar concept done so well! Having finished some of the stories now, I do wonder however, if there are still going to be updates and new stories in the future. The most recent stories have also been added a few years back and there’s certainly potential for sequels in some of the stories I’ve read. I would especially love a sequel for „Freshers“ and „The Big Question“. Would be really cool if the developers could let us fans know, what they plan on doing with the app in the future. I think it still has a lot of potential!

Quite good

First of all: this is not an interactive adventure. It’s only a reading experience. So don’t be disappointed! The first story you play will be Amy Morrisons disappearance, and it’s well made. I was actually impressed that they included pictures, videos, an Instagram account of the character etc. Really nice! There were some plot holes in the story, but overall well written. You get to look through Amy’s phone: her messages, emails, photos, calls, voicemails. It also made it feel realistic that you discover the story throughout several days. BUT I feel like they picked the most boring character to tell the story through. Sometimes you wait for 2 hours for a new message and then it’s just a “I’m so worried about you! Please call!” For the tenth time. Would’ve much rather had one of her friends phones, trying to figure out where she is by contacting others etc. I liked the ending though. Now I’ve started a new story (“The Big Question”), and it is much more reduced. Less to read. Absolutely no emails or pictures kn her phone (even though she got a text with a booking reservation explicitly stating that the details have also been sent by mail). It’s a bit disappointing and I already feel like they didn’t put much of the same effort into this. I’ll see. In general, I recommend the game - it’s a slow reading adventure though! :)

An intriguing and novel murder mystery format

I’ve just finished the first case and very much enjoyed the story. You see the case and evidence unfold of 7 actual days through, txts, e-Mails, videos and news articles/broadcasts all fully acted out by a live cast, while discussing the case and suspects and motives with other people in the chat. The narrative can be played completely by watching videos to get coins for unlocking the various parts or by purchasing the coins. I wouldn’t describe this as a game, more like watching a series but all the evidence is on your phone so you can peruse at your leisure! I really enjoyed the first case! A note for devs: the time skip feature led to the chat being quite out of sync by the last few days and a big part of the appeal for me was the discussion with the others playing along live. I don’t know the best way to address that, maybe over night the clock could re-sync or maybe the chat could be time restricted to where you are in the story to avoid spoilers? Either way, great work!
