I’ve downloaded this app 3 times. I’m reeeeally trying to give you a chance, but it’s impossible to create an account. You can’t even enter onboarding beyond the splash screen!!

So I tried signing in on mobile web…I got a 403 error and can’t sign. I’ve never experience a company trying so hard to NOT get my business. So frustrating!!

I had an electrician come to my house to install a new socket, they installed it incorrectly without the proper wiring and didn't have a conductor at the socket this subsequently made an electrical inspection fail at my property.

Raised this with task rabbit as soon as I was aware but because it wasn't in the 30 days in their policy to raise an issue they refused to take accountability or refund the fee I was charged for the Soddy dangerous work.

From the inspection they advised the work could have caused an eltrician fire and but my life in jeopardy!

Task rabbit didn't care and hide behind the 30 day policy, DO NOT USE TASK RABBIT IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!

I have deleted and reinstalled and over the past two years find the service great but the APP is a nightmare and so difficult to navigate it just stops as you are trying to respond to a message and will not move to an alternative page. I have tried so many different ways to connect via the website and the APP and they are both as difficult and clunky as each other - please sort it out!

I initially found a tasker, I was charged for the job as soon as I booked, the tasker then cancelled saying they couldn’t do the job. After contacting customer service I was told I would get a refund in 7 days.

The app, the way it is supposed to work, and the UI leads to a suboptimal UX. 

Recommendations:
1) Implement better quality or more robust chat interface. It’s seriously janky.
2) Implement custom tipping or corrections to bills that do not require a customer support chat.
3) Implement push notifications that actually come through on the app and avoid forcing users to receive numerous email notifications

As usual, requested for a Tasker to come and help and they declined immediately (it’s rare that one says yes). Task rabbit email me and say they’ve found me a new Tasker, so I follow the link but it takes me to a webpage and have to sign in etc and it can’t log me in. Open the app where I just booked it from and there’s no details of the new Tasker. Can’t try a different time with the existing Tasker. Never worth the bother!

You can tell what a poorly written app this is. Constant I refreshes, background reloading when switching apps and constant “forgetting” of your position in the app.

The worst thing has to be lack of message notifications. A notification server will cost less than sending an email AND an SMS to notify of a message. What a waste of computing.

I booked a task. The tasker cancelled it just 12 hours before the scheduled time. Whereas if a customer wants to cancel it within 24 hours he will be charged for 1 hour. What a nonsense.

It seems to be impossible to log in I had a tasker which completed the work and I can't process payment, reset the password 10 times, delete the app install again, and check to see if they need update but nothing is working. Can someone let me know what is going on 🤔

I tried to install the app on my iPhone 15 Pro, running the latest iOS (17.5.1).  Initially the app didn’t allow me to go past the initial guidance pages.  I reset the app.  Then it was stuck in a cycle of loading location data. 

I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app twice, without luck.

After installation, and on opening the app, I see several pages of info. Skip button/link unresponsive. On the last page, no button/link responds when I attempt to move into the app itself or login. 
On 2nd opening of the app, I see a wait cursor at the top of the screen. It stays there. No connect to Taskrabbit. No links respond. The app is ‘dead’.
