– Check charging progress in real time and start or stop charging
– Heat or cool your car before driving – even if it's in a garage
– Lock or unlock from afar
– Locate your vehicle with directions or track its movement
– Send an address from your favourite apps to start navigation in your car
– Allow your passengers to quickly control media
– Flash lights or beep the horn to find your vehicle when parked
– Vent or close the panoramic roof
– Summon your vehicle out of your garage or a tight parking space (for vehicles with Autopilot)
– Update your vehicle software from wherever you are
– Engage with Powerwall: monitor how much energy is stored from solar, used by your home or exported to the grid
– Download your solar production and battery usage data

Every time Tesla update their app, the widget breaks and then I have to remove it and re add the widget to get it working again. All I see right now is a black rectangle with literally nothing on it. Other than that the app works fine but I wish Tesla would stop breaking the widgets.

Specifically on charging, it’d be great if you can schedule charging at specific times daily, multiple times a time and be able to set multiple peak and off peak hours daily. There’s a start charging time but you can’t set end charging. The two functions cancel each other out.

Also, it would be great if you can attribute charging sessions the three different places. Sometimes you charge at home but the gps says you are not and these skews the graphs and info.

All you need to run things. More stats would be appreciated. More accurate fuel vs electricity cost would be great. Lots of improvements have been added in the 7 mongers I’ve used. Solid. No crashing.

Unfortunately, I installed two Energy products in one day and each required a “new site” to be created.  Creating a second “new” site would have not been necessary if I had signed out and in from the App before installing the second product.  Now, sadly, I have two different “sites” with the same name and each containing only one product.

It would be a nice additional feature to be able to remove multiple sites and consolidate products onto one.

for some reason when i purchased my new tesla the app connection and keyless entry is much slower than previous models i used to own. I remember getting into the older model with ease but now 9/10 it has to load before app works. And sometimes i walk up to the car and door is not unlocked. Its quite fustrating tbh.

The app is good, with easy to use functionality. However there is limited support of international time zones for users New Zealand.  All my super charging sessions are shown as taking place on the previous day. Also when looking at the charge stats, the monthly cost for charging does not add up the the amount shown for the total amount spent for the year

For a software company, it is really disappointing that there is no iPad version of this app!  Sure you can still install the iPhone version and run it in super small hard to read mode 😬. Forget running it in Landscape mode - they left that feature out too. Like I said - disappointing.

Please add Stop Charging at a set time feature!

While it’s nice to set the start time for charging, it is necessary for a stop time for charging to be added as a feature. currently the only way to control stop time is dragging the % full bar across to approximately match the time it will take to finish charging at the time you want it to stop at. This is cumbersome and must be done daily. A simple start charging time and stop charging time would be much appreciated. 

This would enable the vehicle to only charge during off peak or low demand periods.

Also, the ability to open individual windows remotely by say 25%, 50%, full open, would be a welcome addition.
