Connect to SFTP, FTP, and WebDAV servers or to your Dropbox account. Use the built-in SSH terminal to work directly on your server.

In some respects Textastic is better than Coda: for example searching in all the contents of a folder... However, I still use Coda (now named Code Editor) because of its clear and complete interface as an FTP client.

I need to enter here to thank the authors of this app. A beautiful day I left my laptop far away and had only my phone but I need to upload a file to my server via ssh/sftp. I even bought some file manager apps but they support only downloading, terrible  :-(

This app has all features I need: an editor, a ssh command line, a sftp manager with both uploading and downloading.

Les améliorations suivantes seraient les bienvenue :

- complétion/linter pour golang

Est ce envisageable ?

Avec cette feature supplémentaires, l’app deviendrait vraiment excellente. 

En l’absence de linter Golang, elle ne va me servir qu’en cas de dépannage très occasionnel. Dommage, elle est très user friendly et fonctionne très bien !

L’iPad se transforme en un outil puissant de développement avec cette app. Il y a toute une série de petits détails qui facilitent le codage sur une surface tactile. Le niveau de finition se rapproche de Pythonista. Seul regret, la sélection de texte pourrait être améliorée. Lorsqu’on pointe un endroit du texte avec le doigt, la position du curseur est forcée au début ou à la fin d’un mot. Les flèches de navigation permettent d’affiner cette position mais au prix d’un petit ralentissement du workflow. Par ailleurs le zoom du curseur lors d’un appuie long est un peu trop petit et parfois occulté par le doigt. Les touches multifonctions sont géniales et très réactives.

Random abnormal end when returning to an opened Working Copy project.

I can’t scroll to the bottom of my file. For some reason the app thinks its at the bottom when it’s not.

I use a perfectly good, albeit vintage (2011), iPad Air.

mais au l’usage non. Je m’explique. Je fais des astreintes et me connecte en VPN à des machines distantes. Troquer mon PC pour un iPAD serait super mais sauf qu’il m’est impossible de me connecter en SFTP via une connexion VPN aux serveurs sur lesquels je dois modifier des fichiers si besoin (que l’on ne me dise pas que cela vient du serveur : depuis mon réseau local, la connexion est OK et avec le même type de configuration sur une tablette SAMSUNG ou bien mon PC cela fonctionne). Bref, j’ai mis 10,99 € en l’air :-(

Alors pour une version qui a évoluer depuis la V1, d'avoir choisis de séparer sur cette dernière la version iPad et iPhone... Je trouve abusé de faire la V6 dans une nouvelle avec aucune vraie amélioration hormis l'intégration d'extension Apple... Comment faire passé l'utilisateur une troisième fois à la caisse après temps d'années, vue le prix de l'application j'appelle pas sa fidélisé l'utilisateur, mais lui mettre une carotte !
Néanmoins cette application reste là meilleur à ce jour dans ce domaine là.
-2 étoiles pour cette update fessant repassé à la caisse.
