Everything you love about The Recipe Box has been lovingly frosted with swirls of vanilla mirror glaze and dark chocolate ganache, making every pixel glisten. The joy of cooking with our app is infectious, bringing smiles and delight to host and guest alike. We curated every mint sprig and dollop of raspberry purée to add elegant simplicity to the virtual plate. We hope you enjoy the scrumptious the new look, and of course we are tickled about our cheerful kitchen timer. It slices; it dices.

Ok, enough hyperbole (we're really excited!!). Our new timer feature will start a countdown with a tap on the recipe step. Control it from within the app, or from your iPhone's home screen. Switch between recipe timers with ease. We've been setting off timers just to listen to the chime.

Import recipes from the web (it's addictive!) - with expanded external browser support. Look for that signature ripe raspberry icon in any other web browser to import instantly.

You'll love sharing your recipes with friends and family, keeping those flavors of home circulating generation after generation.

I’ve had this app installed for years. The new “import from the web” is fantastic though, no issues and it is very convenient. But I can’t share (transfer) from iPhone to iPad or vice versa, each device shows “Ready to receive recipes” in the Status box. This function worked initially but failed within the first five transfers.

Overall, I like this app out of the ones I tried. 

But I want to add a Category (Nuts and Seeds) and I don’t know how. The FAQ says to edit Categories in the Settings page. THERE IS NO SETTINGS PAGE!!

Also, when you add a photo, you can’t click save or continue editing. You have to make like you’re abandoning the entire recipe (by clicking “Back”). Luckily, at that point, it asks if you want to save first.

I’ve had this app for years - it used to be my favorite recommenation but since the upgrade, the text doesn’t fit, it’s too dark and the sequence for adding new recipes has changed from Ingredients/Directions to Directions/Ingredients.  So frustrating & disappointing.
