Your basic building block is the almighty To-Do—each a small step toward a great accomplishment. You can add notes, tag it, schedule it, and break it down into smaller steps.

Create a Project for any big goal, then add the to-dos to reach it. Use headings to structure your list as you outline your plan. There’s also a place to jot down your notes, and a deadline to keep you on schedule.

### *---- "Annoying thing"
Could you please make possible to remove  (or hide) the lines "Anytime", "Someday", "Logbook"??? These lines absolutely have no sense for me and just irritating for me and many users. I bought this app a few months ago and during this time I am very disappointed cause to this stupid (I am sorry for that) lines, that make the whole app complicated for viewing. 
Please, be kind, just make possible to hide (like it is in the iOS Reminder app) or to remove the three lines I mentioned above. Let each user to decide the view and structure of Things 3. 
Thank you and waiting for good news about that.
