Tide Guide: Charts & Tables

Live activity function is bugged, I disabled every live activity option inside app but it doesn’t stop. Even if you close the app live activity won’t stop. Even more support button in app causes app crash (iphone 14 pro max, ios 16.2)

This is a beautiful app with all the information you would ever need and more, however it’s very buggy with the Apple Watch - most notably if you have more than two favourite locations. Tried switching to manual set or auto but the data seems very glitchy.

Love this app, it’s easy to use and nicely designed.

Nice design but UI is unresponsive and subscriptions are quite high if you do not use it often. Nice Vision Pro App!

Update months later: STILL BROKEN on the Apple Watch for UK Tide stations. Still no response from developer. The App is currently broken on the Apple Watch (at least here in the UK). Just freezes or bombs every time it’s opened. The last few updates have not fixed it. This has been broken now for many many months. I have contacted the developer multiple times and had no response.

I am impressed with the app except the refresh rate which takes between 3 and 7 seconds for the same location, sometimes longer if you change locations.

Possibly the best looking interface and widgets on the market. Unfortunately my app keeps crashing and I am unable to fix it. Real shame

I keep trying to download this as a friend has the app, but it doesn’t show me anything other than the current day- every other day is blank. I can’t see the predicted tide height at different times. Generally it’s completely non functional. I don’t know why this won’t work on my phone- but it isn’t even remotely useful.

Edit: 23FEB2024 You took notice of the below and resolved it. However the latest update seems to have reintroduced this error. Can you please correct the source of the tidal info in the UK? I have recently downloaded this app and bought a subscription only to find that the data you use to show UK tides and tide datum are incorrect. I live on the south coast of the uk where we have the unusual phenomenon of a double high tide. The major tidal points show this phenomenon but the more minor ones do not even though data is availed for these. In addition the tide tables used show not only the wrong times but also the wrong depths, by a significant and potential ship wrecking error. Take Southampton in the UK. On the 28NOV23, you show HT at 0821 at 2.1m. Double high tide at 1124 at 2m. The actual data for this day should read; 1119 at 4.59m with double high tide at 1304 at 4.56m This error is reflected across all the tidal stations across the Solent. I haven’t checked other parts of the UK. This needs correcting ASAP. If anyone relies on your tidal data then the potential for accidents is extremely high
