## Time Guru Metronome Description
**Strengthen your internal sense of rhythm.** 
Time Guru is the only metronome that periodically goes silent—randomly, in patterns, or both—so you discover whether you rush, drag, or lose your place. It's like training wheels that lift off the ground.

**Random & Pattern Muting**
Set any percentage of random muting to test your timekeeping. Or create sequenced muting patterns. Or combine both. You'll quickly learn where your time falls apart—and strengthen it.

**Complex Meter Sequences**
Build unlimited chains of shifting meters: 4/4 → 7/8 → 3/4 → 11/16 → 4/4 → 3/8. Meters go up to 16/x, patterns have no length limit, and you can rearrange them with drag-and-drop.

**Gradual Tempo Changes**
Automatically speed up or slow down over time—perfect for building technique or working up to performance tempo.

**Practice Timer**
Set the metronome to stop after a specified duration. No more glancing at the clock during scale practice.

This isn’t a very flexible or well documented app. Once I take my eye if the screen there is no aural indication of the start of the measure. It could be developed into something useful but it isn’t there yet.

As others have said this app is really great but there are a few simple things that could take it to the next level. 

In my view these things are:

1. Option to mute specific subdivisions/beats the way a whole bar can be muted. 

2. Option to assign different sounds to each subdivision/beat

3. Option to make certain subdivision/beat unaffected by the random mute feature. 

4. Higher quality sounds and more sound options would be nice.

This app just falls short of being the perfect metronome app for a few reasons that I hope could be addressed in the future. 
1) 14 seems an arbitrary maximum number of bars/beats, and I’m having to use workarounds to practice complex forms. 
2) There’s no option of a different sound to mark beat one

The app randomly mutes individual clicks (i.e beat 2 in one bar and beat 3 in the next) rather than allowing the user to have silent bars within a sequence (i.e 2 bars on, 2 bars silent.) Certainly not what I was looking for.

I have been using this app for a while now and I like it I really do, at the same time it is the best of its kind but there are things that could be better I reckon. 1) it could give you more option of time signatures past 7 beats. 2) it could give you more than 7 bars. 3) use if dynamics and accents would be cool. I love this app, please add these things in it :)
