### ***-- "Bon mais pas exceptionnel"
TomTom Go est un bon GPS mais je pense ne pas renouveler mon abonnement quand il se terminera 

Avant d’expliquer pourquoi voici des points que je trouve positifs sur cette application :

- TomTom trafic est précis en terme d’estimation et pour éviter les embouteillages 
- Les radars sont très bien renseignés (+1 point pour les radars tronçons)
- Les restrictions de routes en cas de gros travaux ou de gros événements sont à jour 
- L’application est bien pensée avec plein de raccourcis partout 
- Les cartes hors lignes 
- Guidage de voies sur autoroutes 
- Planification de parcours via TomTom Plan pour des road trips 

Malheureusement il y a beaucoup de points négatifs et comparé à la concurrence TomTom ne vaut plus vraiment la peine :
- Les cartes ne sont pas à jour et je dois passer mon temps à tout corriger. Autant utiliser une application gratuite si c’est pour devoir travailler autant
- Les mises à jour des problèmes de carte est extrêmement long car peu de review (2-3 mois pour avoir la modification sur le téléphone) alors que Plans, Waze et Maps sont beaucoup plus réactifs 
- L’application n’a plus de réelle mise à jour (avec des nouvelles fonctionnalités depuis quelques mois/années)
- Ne supporte pas les LEZ (zone sans émissions) alors que Waze, Plans et Maps oui.
- Manque énormément de POI (en 2025 peu de gens tapent encore les adresses) ou alors les POI sont mal placés et quand on corrige sur MapShare personne ne prend ça en compte.
- Le support répond toujours par des phrases types car soit il ne comprenne pas la communauté d’utilisateurs soit ils s’en foutent 
(Ex: voir certainement  la réponse ci dessous + les réponses aux autres commentaires)
- L’intégration avec CarPlay est catastrophique et le GPS bug beaucoup quand j’utilise TomTom sur CarPlay alors que Waze, Plans et Maps fonctionnent super bien.
- Le guidage de voies en ville est inexistant (feu rouge, carrefour, etc) là où Waze et Plans excellent

En résumé c’est triste de voir une si belle application décliner autant avec les années.

Très bon gps mais vraiment déplorable qu’il ne soit pas possible de choisir le type d’itinéraire dans le menu ´options de parcours ´ dans CarPlay ! Devoir se déconnecter, prendre son iPhone pour éviter les autoroutes, puis devoir se reconnecter est vraiment lourd plusieurs fois sur la journée ! Je ne prolongerai donc pas mon essai gratuit et je repars sur AmiGO ou Maps, gratuits, et qui offrent cette possibilité qui me semble tellement évidente…

Edit : je suis stupéfait par votre réponse car votre produit gratuit 'AmiGo' propose bien cette fonctionnalité actuellement et également sur CarPlay ! Pourquoi n'est t'elle pas tout simplement disponible dans la version payante actuelle ?

Edit 2025 : je me suis laissé tenter par une offre proposant une réduction sur l'abonnement annuel...et j'aurais mieux fait de m'abstenir ! Rien n'a vraiment évolué en 3 ans chez tomtom ! Il manque toujours des informations essentielles dans certains échangeurs, de mauvaises indications de vitesses inacceptables (120 vs 50 dans un parcours avec radar tronçon !!!) et je ne parle même pas de certaines sorties d'autoroute inconnues par tomtom qui indique bêtement le nom de la rue... J'ai donc dépensé des sous pour rien. Je retourne vers Waze ou Maps qui fait tout mieux...et gratuitement !

Édit suite commentaire développeur : 
- limitation de vitesse incorrecte : il s'agit du Tunnel de Cointe en région liégeoise !!
- sortie autoroute inconnue : la sortie 32 'Ans' sur la E25 n'est pas référencée !!
- à l'entrée du tunnel de Cointe sur la E25 à hauteur de Chaudfontaine/Chênée la situation manque de clarté car l'échangeur est confus...et Tomtom ne précise rien du tout alors qu'il le ait pour toutes les autres sorties !!

Voici donc 3 exemples parmis plein d'autres...déjà signalés plusieurs fois il y a quelques années...et jamais corrigés donc je me demande si cela est réellement utile.

Ik vind het een vreemde ingewikkelde interface. Bij waze krijg je 3 algernatieve routes bij tomtom 1 houdt bv geen rekening met gevaarlijke meteorologische omstandigheden. Niet voor mij dank u.

Donc manque d’information, car interdit de prendre son gsm en conduisant pour signaler un événement..
Bizarre venant d’un groupe comme le vôtre , qui prône la sécurité…

Over het algemeen zeer tevreden over de app en CarPlay. Wij rijden met een camper en  het profiel “camper” ontbreekt nog steeds.  Een camper is echt geen vrachtwagen.  Veel restricties zijn niet geldig voor ons waardoor soms nodeloos omwegen worden gevolgd.  Zie dat dit reeds lang geleden door andere gebruikers is gemeld.  Hier werk van maken TomTom!😉

I have used this app for more than 1 year and I was very happy with it.
This summer, when travelling from Belgium to Spain and back, it took me out of the highway and into Paris!! For a 1500 km trip, the app took me through the streets and traffic of Paris!! Unacceptable. I was furious and tired, and I cannot trust the app anymore.

I love driving with the TomTom Go app using Carplay. The interface is very clear and the feature to measure average speed during a speed trap is very clever.
However, the map is not as accurate as Google Maps or Waze.
Driving through big cities like Antwerp or Brussels sometimes gets me into the wrong streets. The direction of those streets can be reversed or some highway exits are not fully up to date. I try to report as many issues on the TomTom MapShare platform, but still, they are not always refelected inside the TomTom Go app. That’s really a shame for such a big navigation company like TomTom. I hope they will improve this in the future.
Also no new features inside the app since I started using (and paying for it) since 2 years.

Je l’utilise en profil poids lourds avec abonnement. Lorsque je sélectionne dans les paramètres éviter routes à péage, l’app ne me propose que des itinéraires sans autoroutes. Il n’y a pas de possibilité de signaler le problème via le support de l’app. Pour le reste c’est correct. Je m’attendais à mieux pour une app Tomtom
