### ***** "Gut durchdachte App und hübsche Animationen"
Bin neu auf iOS und habe einige opensource Apps vermisst, aber zumindest für Mastodon bin ich nun besser dran als vorher! Richtig gut durchdachte App. Nutze Listen und liebe, wie leicht ich sie im Home Feed wechseln kann. Außerdem auch super hübsch gestaltet alles!

Zwei Vorschläge: mir fehlt zu sehen, mit welcher Sichtbarkeit ich schon gepostete Toots versehen hatte. Und: könnte bei den Profil-Einzelviews noch stehen, wieviele Posts schon gemacht wurden? Vielen Dank für diese super App!

Ich möchte mehr als nur 2 Spalten darstellen können. Ich möchte die Home-Timeline, die Mentions und alle Listen gleichzeitig nebeneinander dargestellt bekommen. Auch diese App kann das nicht. Ein iPad ist kein iPhone.

Seit dem aktuellen Update v26.0 ist die App auf meinem iPad kaum noch nutzbar. Beim scrollen ruckelt alles und beim Umschalten zwischen den Timelines dauert es häufig Sekunden, bis irgendwas passiert. Die vorherige Version lief dagegen absolut flüssig!

### ****- "Toot! Toller Mastodon Client - leider nicht für Macs mit Apple Silicon"
Toot! Ist ein toller Client um Mastodon auf iPhone und iPad zu nutzen. Über iCloud wird sogar die Leseposition snychronisiert. 

Schade ist allerdings, dass man Toot nicht zur Installation auf Apple Silicon Macs angeboten bekommt. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn das Lesen und die Synchronisation der Lesepostion auch am Mac möglich wäre.

Vielleicht mag der Entwickler das ja mich ergänzen.

Vielen Dank an den Entwickler! Durch Toot! konnte ich endlich von Twitter zu Mastodon wechseln, da die App ein sehr übersichtliches und verständliches Layout und sehr viele Funktionen hat die die Nutzung sehr erleichtern.
Und was fast keine andere App richtig gut macht: Content Warnings
In Toot! sind Toots mit Content Warning von einem Banner bedeckt, dass die selbe Größe hat wie der darunterliegende Text, ist damit super zu treffen mit dem Finger und (!) man kann das Banner auch wieder zuklappen, was ich persönlich überall sonst vermisse.

Super App, freue mich auf die weitere Zeit mit Toot!

die App hat ein eigenwilliges Handlich und auch das Design der Menüleiste unten war schon immer etwas merkwürdig. Ersteres ist Geschmskssache, die Menüleiste passt ganz einfach nicht für eine IOS App. Letztlich hat die Software auch vom Funktionsumfang den Anschluß verloren und ist zu teuer für das was sie leistet.

Ich habe die App seit 2019 und bin froh, dass sie wieder weiterentwickelt wird und weiter neue Features hinzukommen, während sie stabil, flüssig und charmant bleibt. Bereue meinen Einmalkauf keineswegs! 

Bzgl einer anderen Rezension hier: wenn man bei einer Umfrage zwei Optionen angegeben hat, erscheint die Möglichkeit eine dritte anzugeben, bis zu vier Optionen sind möglich.

Hi. Been a heavy user for some time. This client is really good and love the easy multi account switching. One thing that’s bothering me because I used it daily and it broke only recently: when opening the app you used to be able to click the pill shaped element to go all the way up to the latest toot. It no longer works for me ( just scrolls up half a screen instead). Tested on iOS 16 on recent iPhone and iPad.
