Great app, increasingly behind a pay wall
This used to be free and after a recent update the app’s utility is again reduced unless you upgrade to pro. Disappointed

Trailforks is a trail database & map with over 650,000 trails. Users can contribute data and then local trail associations have the control to approve & curate the data.
Get 14 days of free app use, then upgrade to Trailforks Pro to unlock the map world-wide. Otherwise continue to use the map in your local area for free.
App Features:
- The largest database of mountain bike trails in the world, including thousands of biking related POI's
- Offline trail maps and info. Region updates are incremental and fast

Absolute garbage don’t waste your time
Absolute useless app. Forced to download for a race and nothing works. Absolute garbage and a waste of time.

Heat Map Barely Works
My main complaint, other than the criminal price hike (which I’m fortunate enough to avoid due to early adoption), is the heat map feature. It reveals and hides heat trails sporadically. It functions in a way that seems to be deliberately keeping heat trails vague and harder to find. The app won’t allow layering the proper trail names and lines overlapping with heat trails. Why not allow both at the same time? For a paid app, the heat map should be just as informative as the regular topo and satellite overlays. 1 star unless they make heat maps now functional and decrease price.
Amazing app for MTB trails
I love the app! Got a fair free access and interesting extra feature you have to pay for! Dev team, keep up with the good work.
Best at what it does but lacking
- it’s the best app out there for finding localized trails but unfortunately most of its features are paywalled and the price increased drastically recently - if they had an app for Apple Watches it may be worth the price rather than needing to pull out my phone every time but it’s still expensive imo
Can’t get on Apple Watch
Annoying! I pay for subscription but can’t access in my watch.
Useless unless you pay
This app is useless unless you pay their subscription fee. They stole all user data that used to be free and started selling it. Not only that, but the subscription fee is absurd and continues to rise at an insane rate. Plus they lock more and more things behind a paid subscription. This should be an illegal practice. Do not give them any of your money.
