The bridge was unsigned and under 5 meters. I’ve paid for this app and check the route i went when I hit the bridge. Even setting the heights, this app would have crashed me into the bridge again. For me it has been a helpful and useful tool as a rookie local driver in unfamiliar areas. I recommend it for anyone who is new to the game. You won’t be hitting the Napier and Montague street bridges with this app that’s for sure. But there are a lot of things that annoy me about the app. -Writing for directions in the top bar needs to be bigger as you can’t read it easily from the dash. -Needs to have street names on the journey in the map then you can anticipate a turn by reading the street names. -Takes forever to load. If you go out the app for a sec it will try and reload as well. -Chews your battery. -Pin points you in the exact location so need to be aware of a turn BEFORE you need to turn and it will also try and reroute you if it thinks you have gone off course (Western Ring road & West Gate Tunnel works as a case in point) -Need to turn off voice etc each time you enable the app. Why can’t the setting just stay off? -Need it to be able to zoom in and out like Google maps so you can see ahead and anticipate roads. -Some directions are wrong eg. told me to turn on to Lorimer St from the freeway when it was Montahgue St I needed to turn off. Because I was familiar with this freeway I knew there was no such turn off. I had to switch between Google Maps to try and navigate my way. -If a turn is over 1km away it only counts down in 1km increments yet if it’s under 1km it will count down by 1 meter increments. -Doesn’t show fixed ‘safety’ cameras -Doesn’t show real traffic data -- Andy Roos, 2024-04-06 ### ***** "A great update and rollout 👍🏼" I like the suggestion of “Another suggestion would be a screen pop up when approaching a “P” area with a 300 metre warning pop up maybe?” Also a lot of non-commercial users who drive converted Big Rigs as mobile homes are turning to TruckWiz because of the fact that the App is developed in Australia for Australian heavy vehicles and the support is Also done by Aussies and in excellent times too. The TruckWiz Team is excellent at developing, rolling out updates and excellent timely responses to any issues. As a suggestion, is it possible to offer a non-commercial user licenses for the App? Awe probably wont use all the AI support for load certs etc, but enjoy the benefits of knowing that Tone and others are out there on the road giving plenty of valuable feedback as to road conditions and mermaids on the road side, as we do need to know when they are hot as we need to pull in to them as well.
