The rates are good but the UI provides the worst workflows I have seen. It would be great if they improved the way transactions are recorded so you can more easily track the movement of money (i.e. a running total) and switch the way accounts are selected for moving money. The Ubank app is clunky, so much so that I am considering closing the account.
Last year it changed so that I couldn’t transfer out of my savings and thus had to open a second’bills’ account, annoying.
I have tried several times to have my fingerprint installed and it won’t work so I have to use a password and get a text message code, I understand this is a ‘security measure’ but it’s a useless step considering I’m using my phone to log in and get the code.
Transferring money should be an easy step but it’s not, other banking apps are much more straightforward.
Also, and importantly there have been several times when the app seems to be offline and I can’t access my funds… what’s the point of the account if I don’t have access to my own money?

I’ve been with ubank for a few years now. Always innovative, friendly customer service, great interest rates. What stands out for me though, is that they are not limiting your access to crypto exchanges like Commbank does. Recommend.

Have iphone 7 and can’t instal updated version and can’t get past the update notification on the opening screen for the app, just goes in a circle between app store and update demand. Was gonna move a stack of cash to ubank for the current interest rate but not without a functioning app fellas! Seems an easy fix. Please respond if you do and I’ll be right over.

You’ve changed the colour of our shared spending  account card to be the same colour as my spending account but only in the app and Apple Pay. This is annoying as having a distinct colour was a quick way to know what card is what.
