KNOW YOUR APS SCORE
Enter your subject marks once and instantly see your Admission Point Score (APS) for every major South African university, calculated using each university's own published method. NSC and NCV students are both supported. APS calculation rules are sourced directly from each university's official admissions pages.

SEE WHICH COURSES YOU QUALIFY FOR
Based on your actual marks, find out which university courses you may qualify for across South Africa. NCV students are matched to courses that accept their specific programme. You don’t need to stress about the hassle of calculating your APS,the app does it all for you. It also shows you all the courses you qualify for at universities across South Africa.

Best of all, it redirects you straight to the university’s website so you can apply for the specific programme you’re interested in.

the app has great features, it supports us as students in the application process because it doesn’t avail all the different subjects offered in different schools or provinces, which reduces the ability for accurate information to provide and to apply with, for example, when selecting my subjects on the app in order to calculate my APS, i got an inaccurate result as Sport And Exercise Sciences wasn’t there and that is critical part to my application

This app is amazing for helping learners apply for university, I’ve shared it with all my matriculants. Would it be possible to add features for graduates in pursuing further studies? It would help the platform to be useful for more people, including those of us applying for post graduate qualifications.

Great App, but the courses and universities matched to my APS score do not match my actual score. 

To the developers: it would be beneficial if the App not only matched you to the universities but also to the actual courses that match your APS score. 

The bursaries suggested are also generalised and do not fit my academic criteria so I can’t even apply to them. 

Otherwise, nice App. Hope to see it develop into a more personalised version for each applicant.

I downloaded this app to assist my nephew to check his APS scores. When it gets to the subject, we are only able to add the % but not the subject which means we cannot proceed further as we cannot add subjects

This app is amazing. It simplifies everything and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I commend the developers for it and everyone behind the npo. I really hope you'll never add ads or paid subscription. 
One thing that can be improved though is that after adding my results to the aps calculator the app shows me how many courses I qualify for at each university. However, when I click on a university I see all the courses available at that institution and not just the courses I qualify for. I did find a work around by using the aps information and university as filters in the course search tab but all of that is so tedious and it is not a solution that is obvious to everyone.
It would be awesome if those courses were already available or displayed on the aps page that shows me how many courses I qualify for after I click on each uni. I hope this helps. Thank you again for this app. Keep up the good work.

Please consider adding college subjects for those that did NCV as their qualification is also equivalent to matric however the subjects available are for high school and do not include college subjects

The app is great but it’s unfortunately doesn’t have all the subjects like French SAL for example. It’ll be great if we could have all subjects in order for us to add and get accurate APS.

The app looks fine and clear. The issue is that time add subject button disappears when adding marks for the subject. Do look into fixing that.

Also, The app calculates the APS and concludes with the APS that a person meets the requirements of a certain course.

Do also integrate the minimum requirement when calculating if a person does meet the requirement. Eg. A person can qualify for a course due to APS but because their Mathematics is Level 2, instead of the compulsory of Level 4 then they no longer meet the requirement.

If you can solve that issue, then then you are good to go.

The app will be of much help.

It will also save us from applying all the Universities and waste application fees.
