### *---- "Extremely Disappointing Experience at store – Poor Customer Service and Rude Manager"
I recently bought two half-turtleneck sweaters (size M) from UNIQLO Liverpool (postcode L1 8JF). When I got home, I realized the size wasn’t right and also noticed that one of the sweaters had a mark on it. The very next day, I went back to the store to exchange both for a smaller size and showed the mark to the staff.

The staff at first were very polite and said the exchange would be fine — I had already picked out two in the smaller size. But then a man claiming to be the manager came over, looked at the sweater for a second, and immediately accused me by saying “it wasn’t like that when you bought it.” I explained clearly that I had only bought it yesterday and hadn’t even worn it yet, but he insisted otherwise and said he could check the CCTV.

After checking, he came back and said the same thing — that the mark wasn’t there when I bought it. I asked to see the footage (since I know I didn’t cause that mark), but he refused to show me and also refused to let me speak to anyone else. Even when I said I could come back later to talk to another manager, he still said no.

The way he handled it was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I felt disrespected and honestly shocked at how poorly I was treated over an item worth less than £20. In the end, I just asked for a refund for the other sweater and left the marked one there because I didn’t want to argue anymore.

I’ve always liked UNIQLO, but this experience was unacceptable. The manager’s attitude and lack of respect for customers were appalling. I won’t be shopping at UNIQLO ever again

They use the US date format in the app which led to in store confusion where the staff refused to acknowledge a valid coupon because it expired when it was in fact valid for another month, as confirmed by support. 

This confusion largely did stem from the wrong date format being used imo, as it made it difficult in the moment to read because there aren’t 16 months.

Promised  2x vouchers for joining Uniqlo and downloading the app. Both vouchers were received but they both had an expiry time of just over 2 hours from issue !!! , this was 9:45pm so the stores weren’t even open to shop at that time. Really misleading offer , lacks integrity says a lot about the brand.

Honestly, my favourite store! I personally love Uniqlo since its debut in my city in PH. Coming to UK, I bought all my winter essentials from Uniqlo and all items did not disappoint. They last a long while too, my firsts clothes from them since 2020 are still in good condition. 

The main reason I shop from them is the versatility of the designs and the quality. My 5 years items still are good for my 2025 items, YES because they lasted a good while I decided to continue shopping from Uniqlo to mix and match.

Morever, I introduced Uniqlo to my british partner and just this month for the first time He initiated that we go to physically to Liverpool Uniqlo to shop!! My gosh, that suprised me!! Now he is changing he’s wardrobe to all Uniqlo! 

I’m not bluffing, the quality of the items has an immense impact on the public so I hope Uniqlo maintains their QUALITY BUT AFFORDABLE prices. They aren’t cheap but they so not overrated. It’s like buying luxury for the correct price it should be.

I just am a Uniqlo gal now.

I absolutely love UNIQLO the quality, the style, the prices it’s one of my favourite clothing brands. But this app is unbelievably frustrating. I have every notification switched on, yet I never get alerts when items I want are in stock. I tap “notify me” and… nothing. Since UNIQLO rarely restocks, I end up paying ridiculous scalper prices on eBay. Living in a small village with the nearest store an hour and a half away, I rely on the app, but email alerts I can’t check until after work just aren’t good enough. I love the brand, but the app needs to match the excellence of the clothes.

Now in my 80’s I have been buying most of my clothes from Uniqlo for well over 40 years. Good quality and great range of colours. However I find the new lines frankly boring and repetitive please remember older customers are important to - and have money and don’t want boring!

Having registered to the app pre-Covid I haven’t seen any benefits. The app offers new people a coupon which I never had(not complaining). The only issue I am discovering and I should have taken action a long time ago go is none of my receipts from purchases are on the app. I’ve shopped in store in London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Szenchen. The only receipts appearing are the ones from Edinburgh, not sure if it’s a compatibility issue(doubt it), though I can understand if it was scanned in Asia they are not compatible. Very pointless app, used for gathering data purposes only.
