## Vinegar Description
Vinegar is a Safari extension that replaces the YouTube player with a minimal HTML video tag.

It removes ads, restores picture-in-picture, and allows videos to play in the background when set to audio-only quality.

Note: The phrase 'can read and alter webpages' in the permissions section is just an unfortunate choice of words. Vinegar needs access to the webpage to find the YouTube player and replace it. It's not doing anything creepy!

(Also, do check out Vinegar's companion app, Baking Soda. It's essentially a less powerful version of Vinegar, but it works on all websites except YouTube.)

## Vinegar Reviews in Бразилия

### ***** "Muito bom!"
Aplicativo maravilhoso, queria ter descoberto antes! Comprem junto com o Baking Soda, faz a mesma coisa que esse aplicativo, só que em outros sites - é do mesmo desenvolvedor
-- laranja mecanica, 2025-02-18

### ***** "Amazing app"
Straight to the point, keeps YouTube clean with no ads and allowing PiP and watching videos when the device is locked.
-- Giacomo Preis, 2024-11-20

### ****- "Must-have extension!"
Having a wonderful experience so far. This is simply a must-have for me, especially on iOS. Only wished the video player's top padding could be fixed. For some reason, the video frame moves up a bit when the extension is activated in desktop Safari.
-- Franciscochico83, 2024-05-03

### ***** "It’s not blocking ads"
Version 2.5.8 is not blocking ads like version 2.5.0. I had to downgrade the app 2.5.0 to continue accessing YT without the videos being interrupted by ads. That's very annoying.
-- tutuzorth, 2023-09-30

### *---- "😭"
visual bugs that really bother my experience.
-- abajurzinho, 2023-06-11
