## Vinegar Description
Vinegar is a Safari extension that replaces the YouTube player with a minimal HTML video tag.

It removes ads, restores picture-in-picture, and allows videos to play in the background when set to audio-only quality.

Note: The phrase 'can read and alter webpages' in the permissions section is just an unfortunate choice of words. Vinegar needs access to the webpage to find the YouTube player and replace it. It's not doing anything creepy!

(Also, do check out Vinegar's companion app, Baking Soda. It's essentially a less powerful version of Vinegar, but it works on all websites except YouTube.)

### ****- "Audio play bug"
Overall extension is good but there is a critical user experience bug when new audio start initially it play a second or two as video and then start as audio means repeat first two second which is quite annoying. hope it get fixed otherwise 5rated extension.

I love this extension but I have a few issues, when using vinegar I notice that when pressing on a video it loads twice before it starts playing smoothly;
And that’s something that does not happen when using vinegar extract but the reason I don’t use vinegar extract is every time I play a short it only plays the short’s audio unless I refresh the page then shorts go back to working normally;
Then if I swipe back to go to home and play a regular YouTube video after watching a few shorts I find that vinegar extract does not force the default player and I need to refresh the page for vinegar to work again these issues do not happen with the regular vinegar and my only problem with the regular video is how it double loads videos.

Overall, vinegar is perfect with shorts and vinegar extract is perfect for regular videos;
I know YouTube is at war with apps like this but I hope the devs will continue to focus on vinegar extract and perfect it while it works alongside the ad blockers on the App Store that work perfectly.

Don't respond to major keyboard shortcut like spacebar for play and pause which is weird and just a major hit for my usage, along with no chapter support

1. Background play stops when safari tab group is changed and backed to homescreen. 
2. Background play randomly stops whenever it wants and crashes other important apps.

### ****- "Youtube automatically closes or quality settings pops up"
Its an amazing app but when i google some thing and when i click the search results it redirects to youtube but soon as the video starts to play its reverted to the former page. Sometimes when i try and play the video in YouTube the quality settings pop up and regardless of refreshing the page the setting pops up. Your help on this would be highly appreciated
