## VirtuCamera 2 Description
An essential tool for Previs and Layout Artists, Animators and any 3D Artist that needs to animate a camera. Move your device in any direction, VirtuCamera will capture the motion and instantly send it over Wi-Fi to the camera in your favorite DCC.

- Live Viewport Streaming
See your scene through the App in real time. VirtuCamera streams the viewport over Wi-Fi so you don’t miss any detail.

- Control the scene from the App
Control the playback, choose from your scene cameras, animate the focal length or scale camera movements to travel long distances.

- Up to 60 FPS
Device motion and viewport streaming are captured and sent at up to 60 frames per second. You can configure this parameter at your needs.

- Camera Smoothing
Remove unwanted hand noise and create smooth camera animations.

- Encrypted Connection
Ensures modern, industry-standard encryption for maximum protection. Keeps your video streams fully private between the server (DCC plugin), and app. Specially created for Movies, Series, Games and any other IP protected project. Because your privacy is important to us.

This app requires an external 3D content creation software to work, please take a look at the following minimum system requirements:
-A computer powerful enough to play your 3D scenes.
-A recent version of Windows®, MacOS® or Linux® operating system.
-A stable network connection.
-Blender® 4.5+, Autodesk® Maya® 2026+ software, SideFX® Houdini® 21.0+, Maxon® Cinema4D® 2026+ or Autodesk® 3DSMax® 2026+.
-The latest version of the plug-in provided in our webpage.

App is amazing! Please just add a joystick so you could navigate without actually having to walk and it will be absolutely perfect!

### **--- "Honestly not the same as the old app"
If you disconnected by swiping off the screen or just by lagging off which happens way more than on the old one , you wouldn't be able to get back in unless you refreshed the app and blender scene  and rescanned it also dosent have movement inplamented into the camera it's only like 360 turn around and up and down but you can move forward or back or side to side with your phone like the old app the app is extremely laggy

### ***** "The Perfect Camera Animation Tool"
This plug-in is an essential part of my camera animation pipeline. I used to have to bring my scenes from cinema 4D into blender just because the plug-in only worked there but now that there’s also a new version for 4D I really couldn’t ask for anything More. Ability to just quickly connect my iPhone to my cinema for scene and watch back my animation in real time as I animate the camera is just an incredible ability to have that I couldn’t even imagine being a thing even a few years ago! Would highly recommend this plug-in anyone needing naturalistic camera movement in their scenes

### ****- "Works in blender on Mac, windows still broken"
Fantastic tool! I enjoyed version 1 in blender and have been awaiting the sequel to this app for years. They included the ability to navigate frames one by one, and the interface as a whole is very simple and easy to use.

The windows blender plugin is currently not working in 5.1 (or even earlier versions), but I’m sure they will be resolved soon. For now I’ve tested the app on a Mac and it works just fine after granting permissions for screen recording and device discovery.

I hope in time they add the ability to assign custom buttons on the phone interface that talk to the plugin, enabling execution of custom python scripts. Once the windows plugin for blender is fixed I’m definitely going to bump my review to 5 stars.
