Fun but bugs and greedy blizzard

The most annoying bug is when you disconnected to server in PvP, instead of hitting it just brings you back to the match. Basically giving opponent free win. They want waaay too much for gold and offer very few and seldom rewards and gold for simply playing the game. Which in turn leads to credit card champs.

Continues Blizzard history of polish despite minor growing pains

The game is easy to get into and for F2P players you can progress quite far in single player on 30 - 60 minutes a day. Multiplayer is another story as even at the very bottom ranks almost all players have uncommon heroes and units with traits that make them very difficult to beat without trait parity. It is doable but the level of effort is much higher. You can reach this point but you will generally be far behind the curve. Such is F2P I suppose. Some minor bugs continue to persist in the game with the 3-day long surge mini-events. Specifically in my case there used to be 2 zones active simultaneously. Now I get notifications for them alternating every 3 days but one of them doesn't appear at all. Blizzard gave a 500g compensation for "being affected by a bug" but I'm not sure what that was. Either way, it's a fun distraction that doesn't nag you for ratings, force you into pvp immediately, and has the usual Blizzard polish now that launch day issues are resolved.

TYPICAL GOTCHA GAME

I would have much rather paid 20 bucks for this game, then the constant bombardments of “Limited Time Offers” for RMT’s. The sad thing is, without buying those packages, progress is abysmal; just like in any gotcha game. Where the game really shines is in PvP which can OFF-COURSE be enhanced with……..you guessed it, Real Money Transactions. Real shame tho, the game is absolutely fun, graphics are amazing, and the theme is super catchy. But unless you’re willing to sink HUNDREDS of hours to progress, or Hundreds of dollars, its just not worth your time as you will soon hit a paywall. A really BIG Paywall!

Pay to rank up! Unfair match up!

I spent dozens of hours on this game. And it’s fairly joyful. I started to go rank at the point I have some good combinations. BUT when I ranked up to 3000 points benchmark, I realized the level of our cards don’t round up to same level anymore. I got smashed by players that are several levels ahead of me. A quality rank should be FAIR and pay to get skins like league of legends. What a shame.

Would love to try this but won’t load

Stuck on “loading 100%” screen. Also the “hold to skip” for the video doesn’t work. I question an app / game which can’t even get past the initial loading screen….

Released too early, no events

I was looking forward to this for a long time as a WoW player. The gameplay is pretty good, but there are just so many drawbacks to it a couple months after global launch (which was very buggy despite having a very long soft launch). The main con to the game is that there isn’t much to do, and you need to grind constantly xp which is mind numbing. The PVE is good, but getting past walls is rough. Despite beta Warcraft game, it had no Pilgrims Bounty event. It had no Winter Veil event. Hopefully they’ll do Lunar Festival, but I doubt they will. To me mobile games keep things fresh with events. I bought the lifetime pass and enjoyed the game to some extent, but it just didn’t make the cut for me.

Love it but…

Add a volume control slider for music and SFX. You have On and Off but I want to adjust the loudness. Thank you, awesome game.

Horrible start

Accidentally placed the units before tutorial starts and now the game is stocked before even get started 😂
