Warmshowers App

Doesn’t work at all. Lost money.

Used it for 25 days and after it ask me to pay again! I login and it ask me to pay again for the annual fees...there is a bug..as always but now it's becoming frustrating! We pay for you annual fee...make it work please.

Bought it last year for a trip I couldn’t do because I got injured and never used. I payed for a lifetime membership and now that I’m trying to make the trip again it’s telling me I need to pay per month.. I knew it seemed to good to be truth. Dont buy it’s not worth it.

I was really hoping for a better experience with the app, but it’s unfortunately not meeting expectations for a paid app. The main improvement could be to search potential hosts using more filters than just the two (rather useless) available filters. Please keep working on the app as it could be so much better. The itinerary feature seems like a good improvement, yet again not really valuable if finding suitable hosts is so clunky and convoluted…

This app doesn’t work well at all. Ask me to subscribe even I already paid an annual subscription. Unable to stay connected and, when connected, refuse me to see anything because I’m suppose to souscrive. What a mess!

Like others have noted, login just spins and spins.

When Warmshowers was free, any bugs were part of the experience, no complaints. But now that a membership is required we can expect a smooth navigation and use…. Far from being the case…. Too bad

WarmShowers used to work OK. Then they updated it and completely ruined it. The website and App are both horrible. I’m exclusively a host in Coos Bay, Oregon. Complaints: 1. Constantly soliciting for money - I understand that it takes money to run a service like this. But this is so horrible, I won’t donate. At least until it works properly 2. The third party thing - I’m performing a free service for WarmShowers and touring cyclists and I’m told third parties are privy to my info!? 3. Workings of the entire website & App are atrocious - failed notifications, expired requests after a few minutes, in ability of host to contact other hosts to coordinate, long periods of apparent outage (got only a few requests all summer and now getting lots in the fall). If there were an alternative, I’d happily switch. If anyone with tech expertise is thinking of starting one, sign me up. If I could award no stars I would. That being said, l love my guests. I seldom turn anyone away (I’m sometimes out of town) and 90% are international travelers - I really enjoy them. A very dissatisfied WarmShowers host on the coast.

App charged me 4 times upon registering and I’m still unable to sign in. We’ll see how talking with customer service goes…

Had so many network errors I couldn’t even register. May the browser works better??
