Westminster Chimes Full

I've always liked chiming clocks, so it's great to have Westminster Chimes on my phone, it sounds exactly like a chiming clock you'd have in your house. This pro version is even better because it's more customisable, I usually have the chimes going from 9 AM to 10 PM. I love that you can choose what quarters you want to chime, that's really useful because if I'm listening to an audiobook I change it to only chime every hour, but apart from that I set it to chime all the quarters. I'm completely blind, so thanks for making it accessible with VoiceOver as well.

Fantastic app I cannot do without it kudos!!

Would have given this full marks but since I’m updating to iOS 15, I would like to know when this will be updated for it to work.

I grew up in a house where my mum’s pride and joy was an antique clock that had Westminster chimes. Another family member claimed it when she passed away. I had a “want” and most clocks were either too different or too expensive. This app is my temp solution until I find the right clock at an affordable price. The bonus is I can turn the app off at night. The quarter chimes are a great reminder if time is important.

I downloaded this amusing and well designed App as I am the only one in the household who wanted a chiming clock, so now have my own personal one. It is very handy to be able to regulate the timing of the chimes as well as choosing which melody to have and also to have the hours or quarters as it takes your fancy. I am surprised how pleasantly mellow the sound appears. I have found that when I’m busy working the half hour chimes give me a gentle and musical reminder of how the day is going - highly recommended to all likeminded clock lovers!

I am a blind person and I can know what the time quickly

I love that you can choose all your chimes and when they all chime, but the Canterbury and Winchester chimes could do with a little correction. Sadly, I can't demonstrate how in this review, but a couple of the notes are wrong or mis-hits. I have both perfect pitch and a very good understanding of just about all clock languages, rhythms, sequences Etc. The bell sounds could be improved or upgraded to either, real bell sounds from real bells or even the chime master or schoulmerich true voice which is as close to a bell sound as you will get. Also, this is a great app to consider adapting it for Apple watch users too.

The Chimes do not work when my iPhone 6 goes into standby. Therefore it is pretty much useless.
