So it was a relief at first to find an app that could deal with that. But the library upload interface to add photos is not easy to navigate at all. The only setting for organization beyond a couple default categories is alphabetical, and it includes dates in that list! So after Recents and Recently Added, it lists out photos taken in April by day and also year, then August etc. I prefer to mark my photos for IG in the Favorites album which can’t be renamed, and that takes forever to scroll to. I have to make a new folder just for this app, which is an annoying extra step to take. In addition, the app takes forever to reload after editing and saving a photo. This has been a known problem for years and not been addressed. I’ve noticed one massive issue though - it will not launch unless I’m connected to WiFi. Out on a roadtrip? Crash on launch. Wi-Fi disconnected for literally any reason? Crash on launch. Then move the save and save location choices closer together, so that I’m not moving my hand back and forth so much.
