Winmail Reader

I just downloaded this app. It worked immediately on a winmail.dat attachment sent to me by someone trying to be oh so superior by refusing to send as a pdf! No worries, this opened their attachment instantly. BUY IT! ITS CHEAP AND EFFECTIVE!

I tried a couple of “free” readers only to find it would cost me hundreds of pounds to read the amount of files I needed to. This one is so simple to use and a one off cost which is so inexpensive compared to the “free” readers I tried. I can’t recommend this app enough, so easy to use and exceptional value for money. I really hope you’re convinced because you won’t regret it if you buy it!

The update to v2.1 [14-Sep-2019] is the developer's prompt and effective response to my report. This is a very useful App, with excellent support. ... Highly recommended.

There is a problem when trying to open a Word document in 2016 format. It asks that you enable content. Have emailed the app designer with no response. Don't buy until there is a posted update saying this error has been corrected.

I tried all the free apps searching for an app to open .dat files with outlook .ics calendar invites but to no avail. This is the cheapest out there and does the job nicely. I can see the .ics file and allows me to view it from iPhone 5 iOS8 and accept invitations into my calendar. Great.

Great app. Just researched why files sent as an attachment from Microsoft Outlook show as winmail.dat files which Apple iOS 7 can't open. It's an apple issue really which they need to fix. This app asks if you want to open the file using the app and hey presto there are all the separate files. £1.49 well spent.

This doesn’t work and you can not even get a refund

Very beautiful app and works perfect to open winmail.dat file. Worth the cost!
