Save time looking up Japanese with wishoTouch. This universal app turns your iPhone/iPad into a powerful, easy-to-use dictionary that packs some unique features.
wishoTouch comes with its own full-screen kanji handwriting pad. You need to know the stroke order, but results are sorted in such a way that most of the time you don't need to draw the whole character. Outstanding, but...
Great program that I highly recommend, but it has no instructions. So, I'm afraid it may take a while to figure out how to do everything. But once you figure it all out, you'll discover how powerful this wonderful program is.
Has it's pros and cons. Made a list!
PRO: - VERY good recognition software for single-Kanji using the touch screen. - The Kanji OCR module is VERY VERY good at recognizing kanji via camera. - The examples in the example module are very accurate (Japanese native speaker) CON: - EXPENSIVE. $40 after you buy the modules. - Dictionary is accurate, but does not reflect the real-world. IE search for "unchi" in a GOOD dictionary would produce "plop" or "poop" as it is a childish word. However in this dictionary you get "feces" which is the more scientific term. - The examples have sound, but, lol, all the sound is for the english. Fail! Example of REAL-world testing: If you want to look up a Kanji on the street, this is probably the best app for it that I can find. I tried all the free ones. Some are decent when the conditions are right. However this one, for example Playing Final Fantasy 7 Japanese edition on a LCD monitor. Entire room is dark save for the monitor. Didn't understand some kanji. I couldn't even read the kanji, because the typeface is so pixelated on FF7. However, the character was recognized, and the sentence I was trying to find out was right there.

職場がスマホ持ち込み禁止なのでアップルウォッチで漢字を検索するためにこのアプリを購入しました。上手く動けば大変満足なのですが、しょっちゅう検索しなくなり、アドオンの復元をもとめられます。 iOS13.5.1、watchOS6.2.6で、最新の状態です。

Apple Watchでの使用目的でアドオンを購入しましたが、Apple Watchで検索すると検索中のまま進まなくなります。使用環境はiOS13.1とwatchOS6.0です。早期改善お願いします。
Not opening
Cannot open since updated to IOS 8.0.
Application Does not Work with iOS8
If you are running iOS8, I would strictly advice you not to spend money on this application. Currently (12/10/2014) it crushes on iOS8. Rating on iOS8: very bad!!

No way to use this app since iOS8. It crashes. Need update and bug fix asap.
