Love this app! Lots of great deals

This app has become my go-to app for shopping. It has the best range of brands I’ve ever seen, with everything from luxury brands, brands that I know and love, to new brands I’ve never seen before. I love the discover element where I can discover new brands and I’ve gotten all my friends onto it. I wish I had something like this sooner!! The amount of money I have saved is crazy!! I recommend it to everyone I know.

Never got tracked

I don’t get the point of this app. All it does is provide links to other online stores. No curated content. No specific sales. Just links to store brands. Is the only incentive a 5-7% cash back? Many other websites already offer this. Why build a whole app just to offer links to other brands that take you to their online store?

Loved the exclusive fashion week promos the app recently had, I purchased a deal that saved me $38 so I earned back the annual membership cost just like that (and then some). I literally won’t buy anything else without checking the her black book app first!

I downloaded the app based off an ad on Instagram with no information that it was a paid app. It doesn’t say that it is a subscription service on their Instagram account or in the App Store. Discounts are not great, you’re better off using Honey, Karma, UNiDAYS and Cashrewards which is free to use. Most of these websites profit off selling your data which is approx $35US a month. This app probably sells your data and is also charging you for it. Thank god I didn’t subscribe, judging from the comments, it’s pretty hard to do so.

This app tricks you to choose a subscription if you want to see what they even have to offer. After choosing a free trial, I saw that the app doesn’t impress me at all so I wanted to unsubscribe through my apple phone, just as you can unsubscribe from any worldwide brands, this one tricks you that you have to send them an email to the only email they have under T&C’s. So I sent two emails as I got completely ignored. Still no reply and I haven’t even used the app. I find this very distasteful for a brand that says that celebrates women and yet they forces us to keep subsribed to a business you don’t need or want to use and then charges you after the free trial like you didn’t request a thing. Very dodgy from a bunch of women who present themselves on social media as supporters of women.
