Simple list records
Make a simple list of videos, not a timeline. Impossible to watch, constant bugs. Time jumps over. And some records are not visible at all on the timeline.
Broken app
After the loading app’s last version on iPhone 6 Plus it doesn’t work.the same thing with my iPad.

Poor
Wyze intentionality lock you out playing continuous playback video and make it demoralising continuing playback after the following minute making you manually scrub onto the next video causing you to skip sections. The only way around this is to PAY for extended playback to see what tripped your camera in the first place. The video automations no longer work meaning simple shortcuts to control cameras fail after the latest firmware update. A few years ago Wyze had room sensors and door sensors which they bricked after firmware updates. The company forces you to buy other home security products of theirs after the fact the camera ecosystem worked perfectly well before they started price and subscription gouging.
Since I started paying- it doesn’t work!
I am really disappointed with this camera. When it was free it worked perfectly. All of a sudden since they made it you have to pay even for the basic service it doesn’t work. The camera randomly stops recording events. I have to reset it every 2-3 days. And I have to be home to do that. What kind of safety is this cam providing?? Definitely not renewing!

Mid range performance for mid range dollars
The app itself works reasonably well. However from a DIY security perspective there are limitations; while if you have a subscription to the basic AI tools, “events” are recorded in clips of various time lengths, and you can set up notifications to be sent to devices, it’s far from bulletproof; I’ve had occasions where detections are missed when people enter the detection zone (set via the App), too soon after a previous detection. Also disappointment with the V3 camera which has improved frame rate, field of vision, and much better night vision, but comparatively ‘blocky’ detail (compared to the V2) for detections which are ~5m+ away from the camera. Discussions in the Wyze Community suggest this is due to poor handling of aggressive compression of the captured footage. So in summary, it’s potentially a great App, fronting great tools, for a lowish cost, but currently quite average.
