## Xap Smile Description
PARENTS: The Xap Smile app for Parents allows you to monitor your child’s early childhood journey simply and efficiently. Engage with your child’s activities that are shared from childcare centre and easily message your child’s staff. You can also invite other family members / nannies / grandparents to engage or share your child’s activities. Plus, you can manage everything online.
How it Works
Daily updates: Real-time feed of activities throughout the day.
Photos: Watch your child’s day unfold with snapshots delivered to your mobile device.
Stay connected: Stay in touch with your educators and strengthen child’s learning with activities at home.
Digital check-in: Easy digital check-in with ability to set the passcodes. Add approved adults to pick up your child and see when your child is checked in or out.
Paperless billing: Digital payments directly from your bank account or credit/debit card. Paperless invoices and email receipts.

Send Invitations: Invite grandparents, nannies, and friends – with control over what they can do and see on Xap Smile App.

Literally the worst… Cannot believe daycare centres use this ap.
I can never pay my invoice as it gives me all sorts of stupid messages. Kept telling me to update my bank card details which I kept trying to do but it kept telling me there are connection errors. Now I’m getting charged late fees because it wouldn’t let me change my card details despite being asked 10 times and trying 10 times.
I would love my day care to stop using this ap, absolute garbage.

Every time I attempt to use the app, it freezes, not allowing me to input credentials. The screens aren’t calibrated properly so there’s overlapping of the menu bar along the bottom of the screen. Face ID should be integrated for a sign in option or at the very least, sign in credentials retained from the last sign in. It’s really frustrating to forever be typing all the same information every single time I need to use Xap, on a device that is already personally secure.

My child is in a new daycare. I don’t think they finished developing this app before publishing. There is no way to switch to the new daycare. It just keeps yelling INCORRECT! at me - the most graceful of errors.

I’d suggest you immediately sack your UX and Dev teams.

Daycare providers - move away now. This is laughably bad! I dread to think how they’re securing my families data if this is the best they can do at the front end.

### *---- "Absolute worst app I’ve dealt with"
Always had minor issues with it in the past, but today takes the cake. Went to update our address, but you have to do that for every individual as there’s no way to update the whole family at once. Fine, worked great until I updated the final adult to the same address as the kids, when it’s removed the kids from the account entirely. So now I’m waiting to hear back from the after school care provider as you can never get support from the devs.

This app is starting to get frustrating for because there has been times I’ve either had to go look a booking at my child’s daycare or to mark him away and I lose a week or two of bookings and when I go to refresh the page it takes me to old bookings from a month or two ago and then I have to scroll all the way down to look for said booking it jumps for forward a month and it doesn’t matter how many times I restart my phone or go from wifi to mobile data or back to wifi it still does it

Receive multiple messages at the same time for the same notification with no obvious way to stop it

Application is asking for unnecessary information like DOB add of parents, phone no(complete recipe to hack your bank account) Which should not be necessary as the registration is through invitation only. 
Application is not by known or secure SAAS services where you can trust with your data. Unfortunately I am forced to share my details by Childcare, childcare already have these details. I am not sure why the are asking such details again. We are part of broken system where such important things have no value and ever one will start crying when this app would be hacked. Sorry but no sorry.

This is the most cumbersome, unintuitive and infuriating app I have ever used. Booking an additional casual day or marking your kid as absent is ok (saying that, to book a casual day takes 10+ click and I had to get the centre to show me). Anything else and you need to email the centre or YMCA directly. As parents we have no choice to use this app  
YMCA - please, please, please find another provider. You are making my life so much harder!

### *---- "Notifications don’t work"
I used to love this as I was at work I could see when my child was picked up through the notification all sudden one day they just stopped. Same billing notification and now I’m having to pull my phone out at work on a retail floor instead my watch notification to make sure my family collected my child. 
I wish the notification would just continue to work. 
I have logged out logged in deleted the app reinstalled turned all notifications off turned’ all on nothing seems to fix this issue.
