Imagine a pop up that claims you can remove forced ads.  You pay it.  They update the game and suddenly you get pop ups to remove forced ads…and they want you to pay all over again.

You go to support and they force you to download another app just to email them about the issue.

Loved the game, super fun play but the forced ads were so disruptive that the game lost its sense of fun. If the No Ads purchase focused on providing the Bonus reward ads rather than Forced Ads then I likely would have purchased it. Suggest you make your business model ‘reward’ based rather than ‘punitive’.

I’ve played so many mobile games and you genuinely just get bombarded with ad after ad. it’s so hard to find a good and fun mobile app. but this game is awesome. You don’t get any ads at all unless you want them to get like an item or something. It’s really fun and it’s not too fast where you’re finished with the game in like an hour highly recommend! :)

When the update came, the value of rubies was lowered, increasing the exchange cost in the store from 100 to 500. With the last update on November 23, the hero's damage boost was lowered, and there's not a word about it in the update description…

Many games have ads, but this game’s ad settings are ridiculous. 50% of your time will be spent watching irrelevant ads, frustrated and questioning why you ever hit the download button. Move on and do something better with your time.

XP Hero starts off as a fun and casual game. The early levels are simple, the upgrade system feels rewarding, and it’s a decent time killer overall. Once you reach around level 25 to 30, the experience starts to change. You get forced to watch ads every third time you go back to town to turn in your plunder, and it triggers automatically. Recently, I’ve even started getting ads just for clicking around in town, which is ridiculous and breaks the flow completely.

At first, the game gives you free shop keys and chests to keep you interested, but those stop around level 20 to 25. After that, everything is locked behind gems, which cost 100 to 150 each for higher-tier chests. You can farm gems in-game, but the process ties back to ads and cooldown limits, making it feel like you are stuck in a loop.

Each zone becomes harder, which could be fun, but instead it starts to feel like the game slowly pushes you toward spending money to keep up. You also have to open several chests before you are guaranteed an epic or legendary weapon or hero, which makes the grind feel even longer.

The tower climb mode adds to the frustration. You get about 9 or 10 free tickets at first, but after the first set of 10 floors, you have to wait about 11 hours for another free ticket. You can watch ads for more, but it still feels limited and slows down your progress.

Then there’s the weapon crafting system. It requires enchantment materials to craft weapons, and even more upgrade materials to raise your blacksmith’s tier. The chances of getting higher rarity weapons are low, and the crafting process quickly becomes another repetitive grind tied to ads and slow material farming.

Overall, XP Hero has a great start and some fun mechanics, but it quickly shifts from being a relaxing idle adventure into an ad-heavy grind that feels pay to win. It’s fun at first, but it loses its charm fast once the ads and paywalls start stacking up.

After a certain point you get a forced ad just about every time you return to base, which is every 5 mins at most. You can get around it by closing the app and reopening, it's just extremely annoying. Game itself is decent, but not worth watching 12 minutes of ads every hour for. Not even close.

I have already spent as long a time as it took me to beat the first 5 main bosses grinding to beat Baal and I can’t even get it to half hp. Just make Baal easier or make it easier to level up because that is also an issue

I was excited to find a game that kept my attention for more than 30minutes and even better that I could play one handed. However as many have stated, the forced ads are so constant that it makes it so you’re watching ads more than playing. As a mom, I have limited time to game so that is a deal breaker for me. I’d rather an option to remove ALL ads though.
