### *---- "Lousy customer service processes"
I know this might not be the right thing to do but I would like to take this opportunity to warn people off from Xplora.  

Hardware and service might be fine but the customer service is atrocious. Not the people involved but their support process. You will be left to their chats and for any issue their techs will get back to you via email. 

Knowing what I do know now I would avoid Xplora based solely on their customer support.

The general idea of Xplora is very good. You should be able to ring, message and track your kid. We decided to get an Xplora and hold off getting a phone for our 10yr old boy. He used Xplora 2 yrs until he was more ready to handle his first phone. 
Xplora 4 was not cheap and expectations were high if you
pay good money. The app is until today (we still use Xplora 5 for our daughter) very unreliable, many times maps doesn’t work properly or can’t even contact my kid through the app. 
Also after 2 yrs the battery health of the Xplora 4 went down brutally and after contacting Xplora and asking for a battery change I got the recommendation to get a new watch as they don’t do battery replacements.. very disappointed trying to limit waste in this single use society. I would recommend to look out for other options and avoid buying Xplora.

Appen stänger ofta ned sig, jag har inte kunnat öppna meddelandefältet vissa dagar. Det går bara använda de smileys som visas på första sidan, går inte swipa. 
Det är ofta som inte platsen stämmer. Det går inte lite på att det ska fungera helt enkelt. 
Kommer inte köpa igen.

What’s the point if your watch or app cannot pinpoint the position accurately? Better uses something else or nothing! Don’t buy this! Waste of money!

The app doesn’t notify if your kid calls, writes or goes out of the safe zone for the primary guardian. Despite months of support requests, it is still broken. Only a secondary guardian account gets notifications.

Haft klockan i knappt ett dygn och är redan otroligt trött på notiserna. Man får en notis VARENDA gång användaren skriver ett meddelande eller ringer ett samtal. Det står inget i notisen så man har ingen aning om vad notisen handlar om. Och man kan inte ställa in vad man vill få notiser om. Även om vårt barn kanske kommer gilla klockan kommer vi föräldrar garanterat tröttna på detta och köpa ett annat märke, om ni inte kommer med en uppdatering snart.

It doesn’t accept the password sent to the phone, then requires you to create an account from scratch but then won’t let you reuse details because ”in use”

…Jesus Christ! I was so excited to buy the watch but the app/service or whatever sistem you have is terrible. First of all the account you make when buying the watch doesn’t work with the app. I try to create a new account, enter the email, enter the phone number; get the verification code on email- works; get another verification code by sms - nothing. Opt to be called to get the code - is not valid. Do the whole process again, no sms, get the automated call and receive the same code…really? Tried this several times. Contacted the support and they tell me to update the app (i just downloaded it), then they suggest deleting it and reinstall LOL. And the app doesn’t support password manager integration. This is ridiculous

Riktigt instabil app sen senaste uppdateringen. Plats har slutat uppdateras. Meddelanden kommer inte alltid fram. Ljudmeddelanden spelas bara upp någon sekund sen måste man starta om. Det går inte att förlita sig på klockan.

Just nu är appen instabil och känns inte som att man kan lita på att den funkar hela tiden, ibland kommer inte meddelanden fram i appen. GPS uppdaterar sällan och med dålig precision. Blir nog mobiltelefon eller apple watch istället.. Xplora xgo3

Ni uppdaterade appen för 2 dagar sen. Har hittat mig själv ej inloggad två gånger sedan dess. Maken har varit utloggad också en gång av dessa.

Känns lite otryggt om dottern skulle behöva få kontakt.

Ibland kommer man inte fram, ibland kan inte dotter ringa. Känns som att den haft barnssjukdomar alldeles för länge. Alltid strul också när man ska sätta ett alarm. Tex nu skulle jag redigera ett alarm. Men varje gång jag ändrat går den tillbaka till hur alarmet var innan. Det borde finnas en ”klar” knapp istället för den där ”redigeraknappen som står där nu. Jag har ju redan redigerat. Sedan blir det inte heller redigerat när jag har redigerat. Ja det ni hör ju, så här snurrig blir man av att använda appen.
