Upgrade je Safari-ervaring met xSearch, de alles-in-één zoektool voor iOS, iPadOS en macOS met slechts één aankoop.

xSearch laat je direct schakelen tussen meerdere zoekmachines en zelfs rechtstreeks zoeken vanuit Spotlight, waardoor je sneller en efficiënter browst.

Typ bijvoorbeeld "g apple" om te zoeken naar "apple" met Google, of "ddg apple" om te zoeken met DuckDuckGo.

Privacy is een topprioriteit: xSearch vraagt alleen de toestemmingen die het nodig heeft. Op iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 en hoger is toestemming vereist om de browsegeschiedenis te bekijken om correct te functioneren in Safari, but het heeft alleen toegang tot de URL van de huidige sessie om de zoekmachine te identificeren. This is just perfect now. It took me a while to understand how the syncing is activated but it works and it’s great. 

- open xSearch
- go to settings under […] button top left
- Activate Sync My Engines under iCloud Sync
- close Settings
- Go to iCloud tab
- Tap a backup profile and make sure it contains the engines you want to sync
- If so, tap the green checkmark top right to activate this profile for syncing
- Activate iCloud Sync on other devices

I love this app! Its very clean, minimalistic and works like a charm. Developer responds quickly to questions too which is always great.

One feature I'm missing in macOS is the ability to override the default search engine like you can do in iOS. Thats why only four stars, if the feature gets added I will update to 5 stars.
