## Yr.no Description
New Yr on iPhone and iPad is different from anything else you’ve seen in weather forecasting: Scroll through a beautiful and animated sky to see how the weather changes hourly, and get all the need-to-know details at the same time. And if there will be rainfall within the next 90 minutes we'll let you know through our now-cast.

The weather visualization makes it a fun experience to check the weather – even when it’s raining!

Check details day by day and hour by hour in the long-term forecast, or study the details in the graph.

Under "Around you" you get an overview of air pollution, pollen spread and UV forecast, as well as the latest weather observations in your area.

Forecasts are delivered by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

Our primary goals are to secure life and property, while delivering useful and accurate weather forecasts to our users, preparing them for all kinds of weather. I like the app but it’s decided to always show me a location several miles away rather than the closest one. No option to change this?

On the surface it looks great. Used for over 3 months. Quite a significant number of times this app was extremely off with the weather here in the UK.

### ****- "Lost localisation"
Been using it for a very long time, best weather app, accurate more often than many others. 
Shame that the weather animation only does 48 hours & you have to change screen to see further (although who trusts weather forecasts for more that 2 days in time !?!)
However, some serve issue at their end meant that the localisation has gone funny and it’s putting a few miles away from where I am !! :(
Any chance for a fix or an update soon ?

I had read about the app and how good it was so thought I give it a try.

The UI is very pleasant, I like the way the information is provided. However, the forecast I get here in the Scottish Highlands is based on Kinloss on the Moray Firth, “only” 54 miles away. Given that the weather up here can change three times within 10 miles travel the weather forecast is generally useless.

It may be accurate in the South or Norway, but you live in the North of Scotland forget it!

This used to be my favourite weather app because it was so simple to get a sense of the weather. The update has broken this and put in multiple graphs making it much harder to read. It’s now rubbish to use.

I’m afraid that I don’t see the point of the shading below the curves on the temperature and wind graphs (metograms).

The previous version superimposed the precipitation on the temperature graph. Separating the two wastes screen space.
I recall that the temperature scale on the previous version was 2 degrees per cell.  It is now 3 degrees per cell - presumably to make room for the separate precipitation graph.
Superimposing the two provides more detail and saves screen space.

Still my favourite weather app.

Can’t fathom why it was a good idea to take one easy to read graph and split the information across multiple graphs making it so much harder to digest the forecast they provide which has otherwise proven to be brilliantly accurate. Has been very accurate for the weather for the current and following day, including snowfall, sunshine and cloud cover. Has helped us plan our layers for skiing, and get an idea of when to restore our energy for the next day of good weather! The sliding function on the Sky tab, and clicking the “Hourly” option on the Table tab are great to see the breakdown throughout the day! Thanks for a great app!
