К сожалению, традиционную каллиграфию на бумаге не заменяет.

Очень разочарована этим приложением. Слоёв нет, свой скетч добавить нельзя,размер холста свой то же не установишь, ластика адекватного нет, цветов всего 30 и то, лишь на одну кисть (из двух!!!),а вторая пишет только чёрным цветом.Количество «шагов назад» всего лишь пять. Я уж молчу про пробный период-его то же нет и это очень плохо, так как покупаешь,получается, «кота в мешке». Повелась на живые акварельные кисти и купила это приложение, но даже представить себе не могла, что там будет всё так плохо.

While new features are good, possibility to show grid from version 2 is a deal breaker for me. I use it to practice Kanji drawing.

Well, hopefully they won’t go the Photoshop way and won’t end as an overloaded behemoth. :) The third edition is a good full range watercolour for iPad. Two issues. First, from time to time it crashes, especially when I attempt to export hi res jpeg, it is annoying. The second - a little bit of inertia when moving brush fast. My air is just a year old, should work well. That’s why four stars, not five.

This app is really cool and worth getting but THe ErAseR PleASe! The eraser dosen’t really work and on the old one it’s SO MUCH BETTER! Please can we have back the old eraser, But apart from that it’s really good JUST FIX THE ERASER!

Deceptively simple, but hard to master is how I would describe this app and the techniques needed to get good results. I am determined to develop and master the techniques, as the results can be quite beautiful!

Hay guys can you please add the old paper from your previous app ; Japanese paper 3 used it all the time as it’s a nice paper effect. But as disappointed it was in this app . Thanks

Great, but a bit frustrated with only being able to undo 5 times! Would be nice if this was increased. Nice app though.

It’s a lovely app and the brush engine is genuinely very good, particularly the natural blending of colour and wet inks. But there’s no way to rotate the canvas while painting - there’s pinch gestures to move and zoom, but the lack of rotation is frustrating. I know you can just turn the iPad, but I can’t when it’s on it’s angled stand. ‘Undo’ is limited to 5, which is also unfortunately frustrating and often not enough. I love the simplicity, but these two additions would make it much better.

Using the apple pen this is a lovely and beautifully responsive app. As I understand it, discipline of thought and action are crucial when drawing or painting using this technique. Every application of the ink/paint is important so envisioning what the brush-stroke is going to look like before you actually begin is crucial. I think this is the way to get the best out of the app and replicate the actual experience of Eastern calligraphy and painting. As such, this is not an art-kit for ‘scribblers’ but for those who wish to imbue their creativity with the serenity of mindfulness. All that said, it’s easy to change the controls so that you can use this as a standard paint-box. There is simply a spiritual aspect to this that I really like and appreciate in these strange times. Looking at the blank page before taking action is strangely cathartic.
