Myself and my 8O year old mother were just unceremonious turned away from an appointment that we were ON TIME for because, apparently, it took me too long to complete the preregistration form that they sent only minutes  prior to our appointment. Not to mention they had no WiFi access to complete an ONLINE registration. 
I booked only yesterday because they were the only office with 4 openings, now I understand why! If coming back at 5pm for an appointment that was originally scheduled at 11 AM was a viable solution for a senior citizen who was physically unable to walk without assistance, then this office needs a more experienced and compassionate staff!

As someone with a plethora of medical issues, it can be hard to find doctors quickly, efficiently and most importantly, ones that take your insurance. But i’ve used this app to find an eye doctor, a gynecologist, a pcp and now a psych and its been so easy and pain free. Would highly recommend , especially for busy or shy/ anxious people.

I had an appointment with Dr. Gerber an orthopedic physician today. I was very pleased with his bed side manner and his knowledge and expertise with my issue and how he answered all of my concerns. I found my appointment was very helpful and I received my diagnosis quickly. Everyone I encountered at this office was kind, and professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Gerber for anyone who needs a great Orthopedic doctor.

Firstly, I’m sure this app is helpful in larger urban areas, but unfortunately, there are few results for anything in my area, & even then most are least 50+ miles away.

Second, as someone who lives with mental illness & as someone who is going into the mental health profession, I noticed when I selected psychiatrists & it asked me about my reason for seeking one, it only allowed me to select one. This was disappointing. Fortunately, I already have MH professionals that I see routinely who I am happy with & was mostly just playing around on the app. But for those like me who may use this app to search for MH care providers, only having the ability to select a singular reason may be difficult to decide what to select. For example, I have been diagnosed with anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar type 2, BPD, & a substance use disorder—all of which are listed as possible reasons. Many people have comorbid mental illnesses, especially those with bipolar, personality disorders, or a substance use disorder. For those people, general MH problems can be hard to pinpoint on any of those things singularly, those conditions often work alongside each other, but I also couldn’t find an option for multiple MH diagnoses or comorbid illnesses. I have no idea which of the listed reasons I personally would even choose from because it’s hard to choose one over the others. Further, if I had to choose just one of those, like BPD for example, I’d risk making an appointment with a professional who’s had limited experience in treating substance use disorders or panic disorder. As someone who is training to become a MH counselor, I think this may also possibly have an effect on the amount of clients find these professionals on the app to book appointments. 

I would recommend implementing the option to select all that apply when choosing symptoms/reasons for seeking treatment—especially for MH concerns, but for other categories of healthcare as well. I also think it might be beneficial to also provide an option for “other/not listed” for people to manually type in, especially if the reasons people choose can be seen by the professionals (& if they can’t, I think that might be helpful too), so that they can get a glimpse of what the patient/client’s needs are. :)

Alot of clinics use this app to book online appointments, but everytime i try to book an appointment it does not let me, it asks for my number and once i submit it, it says that my number cannot be used. Which is very annoying, having to use a temporary disposable number everytime i book an appointment

I downloaded this app to get help with my mental state. Made an appointment with a psychiatrist, followed every instruction. My appointment was at 8 am December 12th. 20 minutes after the appointment started the doctor still had not contacted me so I called the office and they said my appointment was at 11 am and it was cancelled without notification. This is not how you treat people. This service is worse than waiting 3 hours to see a doctor only for them to tell you your symptoms are all in your head. Don’t use this service.

ZocDoc allows medical office staff to post fake reviews and list themselves as in-network when they’re not. No oversight or trustworthiness. ZocDoc wants that doctor money and will allow places with deceptive practices to remain on the site.
