very good app but the camera literally sucks and when i try to record it freezes or doesn’t let me put the video in and i cant use anything

Crashes a lot for a paid app
I’ve used the app for 3 years now and think it’s golden, but have noticed lately that it crashes a lot. I cannot use the app for more than couple of minutes before it crashes. Also, I preferred the old UI where the “journal” view would be the home screen, instead of having to navigate there every time.
Best app ever made
Literally my favorite app: -It's cheap: only 5,49€/month to make sure your videos are safe -I love the idea -I love looking back for what I've done -It's easy to use -App layout(?) is really pretty -You can get widget of the app to your home screen so you'd remember to film your daily video I couldn't recommend any app more
Too much stuff
What was once a tiny app that did what it said on the tin has gone the way of many other apps or desktop software that have bloated over time. Trading the ease of use and simple visuals to too many options, and as such, trying to do too many things at once. ”1 second every day” is nowadays called ”1 or 1.5 (possibly x2) seconds and a diary entry + random-animated-gif-as-a-thanks every day”. Sure, it’s not mandatory, but I would argue for author’s original intent when thinking of the raison d’etre for this app. Would this app nowadays make it into a TED talk? I think not.
Love this app
Love looking back at what ive done and where ive been. Gret app and very easy to use. Worth buying!

Adding Additional Snippets Bug
Ever since we could choose to add multiple snippets simultaneously, they broke the “watch ad to unlock additional snippets” button. Now you watch an Ad, go to add a snippet, and it says you need pro. Watched an ad for nothing!
Can’t us own music like past years.
Please fix this so I can add my own music like past years. I’m using the same song as last year so I know it’s t should work.
Bring back feature
(Free version) Until the recent update, multiple daily videos were allowed- if we watched ads. Now, there is an option to watch ads for adding extra content, but this results in a subscription upgrade message only. Bring back the capability please. I’m wrapping up my first full year of using the app (I do enjoy it) but on my occasional “busy” day, I’d like to have the ability to document it.
