such a handy app in creating scrapbook effect posts and just a fun way to elevate your gram feed!
it has great basic features to do basic collage/scrapbooking posts but wish there were more free stickers available and readjustments buttons for the pics a bit more intuitive and user friendly. i wish we can also work in layers, showing how theyre stacked and can easily move different things without having to reorganise the whole thing just to move one object AND please please add an undo button!!!!
I love the concept of this app. Of course I do, it’s a digital scrapbook that’s been marketed very nicely across social media to appeal to my niche! But, in saying that, majority of the features advertised (such as the stickers and even typed textual features) require you to pay to access them, and compared to the ease of use and variation of free features that I have using, say, canva or piccollage, I found the format of this app a little difficult to work with; particularly when adjusting the size of a component, you have to pinch on the actual surface area of the image rather than being able to use the whole working area, even though you select the component anyway and there’s no chance you will accidentally interfere with another component (which I’ve found happens in piccollage). I did end up resorting to the size adjuster slider bar after selecting the image. A suggestion would be to maybe remedy this and allow users to pinch the entire working space to adjust the size of the component rather than just its surface area. I might also add that the doodle/writing feature is the exact same as your ‘markup’ feature in apple’s photos, which leads me to think, what’s the point of using this app if I can just add text via the markup feature already built into photos, or draw it in notes and then copy it across if I want to use it in a collage? Just my five cents. Love the aesthetic of the app, and I see the appeal, but it just didn’t end up working out for me.
