Great Ideas. Not utilized to their full potential. Plus ads.

So i usually like to give a puzzle game like this one about 25 levels before writing a review to get an idea of what the game’s like. I gotta say, I like some of the ideas going for it. The basic, non-gimmicky levels of were engaging and challenging and the shapes they used were tricky enough to keep your brain engaged. I enjoyed the couple of mechanics that the introduced (the one-way arrow and the double line) although they were HEAVILY under-utilized and left me with a feeling of disappointment with how they were handled. You see, when they introduced a new game mechanic I was expecting a new series of levels utilizing that mechanic (somewhere in the ballpark of maybe 10 levels that would utilize one or both mechanics introduced in tandem). Nope! It was just one level that utilized that mechanic each then went back to the old formula. I felt insulted to say the least and the levels felt rather boring after those introductory levels. Oh. And the ads. I don’t usually complain about ads to much as I get it, the devs need to make money somehow. However, there’s one peeve of mine that I didn’t know I had til playing this game. Double up ads. What I mean is that this game is really sneaky. They have an option where you can get two free hints if you watch a short 30 second video. Which is fine. You support the devs, they support you in your journey through the game and you’d be on your way. However, they slap another ad in your face without notice. You were told 1 ad, and instead you were given two. It’s annoying. I really like this game overall. There’s just some things that could be worked out like utilizing game mechanics better, fixing some ad issues, and making the overall experience better for the player. If these get fixed, I’m sure you’ll have a better player base overall.

Too many ads

I played one level; the star. Then it immediately played an overly long ad that was difficult to navigate. It’s obvious how bad this is going to be so I deleted it. Not recommended.

Way TOO MANY ads!!

The interface and game are very nice. HOWEVER, people will end up not playing at all if they have to watch that many ads! Seriously, I’ve never seen so many ads in rapid succession in a game. Consider this, especially on lower levels, puzzles may only my take a few seconds to solve but then an ad takes MUCH longer than game play! People will stop playing before they ever come to love the game! To the developers, if people stop playing, you will earn a lot less money than if many more people endured a few sprinkles ads but kept playing. Consider the saying: “It is better to earn a lot of nickels than just a few dimes.”

Every now and then you take a brief break from watching ads to play a level.

Stage 40 level 1 is broken.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY!! I literally just downloaded the game. First level. Draw a star which takes all of 3 seconds. 30 second AD. Next level. Draw a house at 3 seconds. 30 second AD. IF YOU CANT MAKE A DECENT APP WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE ADS BETWEEN EVERY. SINGLE. LEVEL. Don’t release the app!!! We wanna play a game, not watch cartoony ads in every daggum level.

Too many ads and ads too long

Ads are obnoxious. Too often, too long, and designed to make app store popup constantly for apps I don’t want.

Ads galore

I deleted, it was ridiculous

Really fun

Really fun and challenging (in a good way)! I would love to see a dark mode included. The white is just so bright. Maybe the developers could consider that.

Why so many ads

Way to many ads!
