Too much hassle

Register just to open a magazine app?? Deleted

Great magazine let down by weak app

Gerbilfun on

United Kingdom

I love 220 Tri magazine but the online experience just doesn’t match the physical magazine.

Good Content

Andybeck_uk on

United Kingdom

Great content and variety covering all areas of Triathlon from beginner to expert. New layout is a little confusing and I would prefer the old magazine layout but just a minor issue.

Rubbish app - I’ll resort back to paper

petewrigs on

United Kingdom

I assumed this would replicate the paper magazine but on my ipad. I couldn’t have been more wrong - when it works it’s clunky and difficult to navigate. And having downloaded a full issue to read offline I open the app to find that it’s been ‘offloaded’ again. And then even with a good connection the download speed is prohibitively slow. Hopeless!

Great content but a horrible app to use

cdsrvd on

United Kingdom

I really the magazine itself but the usability of the app on both iPad and iPhone is horrible!

Missing content

EmmaJG on

United Kingdom

The new layout is ok for me although I prefer the previous “real mag” feel, even if it was buggy. I read on my iPad not my phone but I can see if you only have a small screen it may be easier now (why not offer 2 versions though?). But most importantly, there is content missing. Where are the race listings? How about the summary of recommended kit by type and price? Probably other things too. Please sort it out.

Appalling update

Wheresmytodolistgone on

United Kingdom

New version of this app is really buggy - downloads don’t work properly, sections with “Tap for More” don’t work, content is missing etc. Support woeful...have to wait days for them to tell you to uninstall app and reinstall, and then have to go through redownloading all editions, only to hit another bug....and repeat. Thinking about cancelling subscription and going back to paper it’s that bad.

Great magazine but awful design

Millszoid on

United Kingdom

I love reading on the iPad as if its the magazine and I have to say I enjoy the adverts and overall layout of a magazine, all that is gone in the new design. Feels more like a blog now. I will be withdrawing the subscription and purchasing the physical copy.

Not renewing subscription

AJGunner23 on

United Kingdom

Changes to this app have made it impossible to use offline. When I first signed up I could download an issue and read it offline, this is not the case now. Very disappointing 🤔

Rubbish-lots of download issues

Ajones107 on

United Kingdom

Rubbish App, it takes so long to download even on a fast connection, and never quite completes. I have to refresh is several times to keep it downloading, then it gets stuck on 99%. One plus point, the articles are presented quite well once you can view them. Although next time you open the App you have to download the issue all over again, completely pointless! Even though it only cost me 99p subscription, I can’t help but think there’s a lot of people like me who will buy it, realise it’s rubbish and delete the app.
