23snaps: Private Family Album

1. doesn’t support limited access to photos. The screen to add new photos stays white, if you don’t give full access to all photos. It used to work. Share sheet also doesn’t work. 2. buggy as hell. Tapping notifications still sends you to a white screen occasionally 3. no downloading of the original files. So if you ever want to use an original photo file for anything, you can’t get the file. I wouldn’t mind paying, but the bugginess and the privacy problems just make me move away. Went for self hosted Immich.

Not suitable for sharing photos in a decent quality. Downloading of images from albums is only possible in a very low resolution.

Sadly the everything now u need to pay. To post multiple photos, to upload videos…. It’s getting worse overtime, without any improvements that justify the huge price for all the members.

We are using 23snaps since 3 years almost every day! And we love it.

Ich mag diese App sehr gerne. Meine Familie wohnt weit von uns entfernt, aber dank dieser App können sie wenigstens auf Fotos, Videos und durch Statusmitteilungen die Entwicklung unseres Sohnes mitverfolgen.

Das ganze ist wohl nur eine Verkaufsplattform bzw. Instrument zur Datensammlung, deren Verwendung man sich vorstellen kann. Keine Empfehlung!

Wirkt kompliziert und überladen - mit so vielen Features sind Eltern und Großeltern leider überfordert. Außerdem gibt es die App nur auf englisch. Weiterhin konnte ich mach Anmeldung nirgends mehr einen Link zu den AGB finden. Da auch nicht transparent ist, wie diese App Geld verdient, ist es mir das alles nicht wert. Die Features der App habe ich daher gar nicht erst ausprobiert. Da ist Apple's iCloud zum Teilen von Familienfotos doch die wesentlich passendere Lösung.

Und das auf einfachste Art und Weise. Wir haben vorher Picassa genutzt und sind mit 23 Snaps sehr zufrieden. Wünsche und Anregungen werden kontinuierlich eingebaut.

Looking for an alternative to pica**** we found this app/service and we love it. There are a couple nice features missing yet but their support team is excellent (thanx Rachell!) They got many things in the pipeline yet! It is great for the whole family, youngsters as well as grandma's and pa's. No one needs to register but they can, otherwise they just get email updates. Everyone stays updated the way they like to. Uploading and managing content is nice and easy. The app is smooth. Thank you for listening to all our wishes and keep it going guys!

Die App ist super, um den Alltag der Kleinsten zu verfolgen! Ideal wäre es, wenn sich daraus ein druckbares PDF oder ein Album herausgenerieren ließe. Dann kann man die einzelnen Jahre schnell zusammenstellen.
