Description

In Forty Thieves Solitaire the goal of the game is to move all the cards to the 8 foundation piles at the upper right corner.
The foundation piles are built in suit from A to K. You can use the middle 10 piles to hold the cards temporarily while you build up the cards in the foundation piles.
You may only move one card at a time, and you can only move a card to another pile if it is one lower and in the same suit. If you cannot make a move you can turn over a new card by clicking on the facedown deck in the top left.
It's game over if you have used all the stock cards and cannot put all the cards on the foundation.

Castle Solitaire Ad had malware or something

George72468 on

The pop up castle solitaire ad with the play/end video icon freezes iPhone 12 and you need to manually reset the phone to stop the game. We know the point of having the Apple App Store is to prevent viruses and malware. Why is malware in ads in game apps from the Apple Store?

Could be a lot better

Isn’t there any decent 40 thieves games out there?!!! Yes, I expect a challenge, but this one is NOT a “fun” game. I have to settle for it bc my apple does not not have the 40 thieves I played on my Samsung. My other one had an “auto-fill” and would highlight if there was a move possible. And when I won a game, it played a little song! This one says you did it. Woopdedoo!

I agree about too many ads and they pop up too often, they r too long, and too darn annoying. Why can't the game be purchased and be ad free as I've done with some other games.

Too many ads

Bugmonkeymom on

United States

I used to love playing this game, but suddenly it has pop up ads every 15 seconds or so. I have spent more time waiting for and closing ads than I have playing the game.

Don't Buy / Upgrade

This went from a nice game to a "force you to see a full screen ad/video" every time you play". Avoid this game and company like the plague.

Card Functions Needs Work

Bytewench on

United States

Good difficulty level (not too easy), but very frustrating to play. Cards are difficult to place on top of other cards. Developer is using some odd method of validating placement, and you often have to try several times before cards will 'seat' properly. I see this was a major complaint in the earlier versions. The app would get far more stars if this is fixed.

card sizes are not workable

SmudgeAger on

With the new updates, all of my uwe meier games no longer work as all the cards are now cut in half. I loved the previous versions!

New update

LAHNH on

United States

I don't like the new update. It is very hard to move and place the cards. Very frustrating.

Can't play this game without hitting ad button placed on top of deck. Annoying.
