I’ve been listening to Salems radio apps for years, 660 and 860. Recently they had a problem with sound cutting out. Instead of just fixing that, they redesigned the app. Now it’s a mess. Looks like it was designed by teenagers and millennials. They need to remember who the majority of there audience is.
Ads are not only running over the opening of the app, they are interrupting the shows at random intervals making listening difficult. Additionally, the app shuts down every five minutes in spite of the numerous bug fixes.
This app has become useless since the new update to make the app more beneficial. Useless and can’t be bothered to use at this point. Please correct issues.
The app can’t be controlled by the pull down player on my phone or the controller on my watch anymore. I have to go into the app to push pause or play. Also, it doesn’t interact with other apps as well. It seems to stop playing more frequently when I access another app. It also stops playing at seemingly random times (probably not random, but it does it so often that I don’t know what the cause is) I usually listen multiple hours while I work but it’s cutting out so often that I’m not able to listen at work.
Used the 660 App for many years. The new app automatically shuts live stream off after roughly 12-15 min. Cellular or wifi. Side by side iOS app vs new app and the old app doesn’t shut down. Nice upgrade guys. Ugh
This is hands down the worst app on my phone. Ads are incredibly annoying (for the love of all that is holy please give us an option to pay $5 for the app and let us go add free). Not only are there pop up ads when you first open it but then you have to listen to more ads before it goes to the live feed. Half the time I never get to the live feed. I have to kill the app several times to get it to work eventually (although sometimes it never does). I hate this app. But I LOVE Mark Davis - he’s the only reason I haven’t given up and deleted it.
Constant drops. And relentlessly advertisements. Are they? They're truly interested in making money more than providing Contant. You need to blow up the app and rethink this if you want people to continue to tune in.! Be better!
