Amazing app for the Reddit Recommended Routine. One of the cleanest and well made apps I’ve ever used. Thanks!
I wish more applications were like this. Well designed, no frills, and isn’t trying to push an unnecessary subscription on you. Kudos to the developers.
I was looking around for an app specifically to do and track the BWF RR Reddit exercise. This app is built specially for that. The app at first shows all the basic workouts and once you’re ready to progress, hit progression on each workout to decide which harder exercise to do. Quite intuitive and simple to use
Great app based on the Reddit RR. Best I’ve used and better than loads of paid app out there
Those not privy to the r/BodyweightFitness subreddit might be downloading this as yet another app to try out, expecting to delete it when asked to subscribe to some exorbitant monthly fee. And what luck for doing so. This app has an entire community behind it, with well thought through exercises, a workout timer that actually works, guidance videos, and form cues. All for free. No subs. All features included. The idea is simple, the workouts are simple and I don’t feel broken for days afterwards making me hate the ‘need’ to go to the gym. By the time you get a few workouts in and start to see the progression to more demanding exercise variations you’ll be addicted. Literally just 3 sets of 8 reps of six exercises, in clean and controlled pairs. I now actively make time to fit in a mere three 60 minute workouts per week. And those include the bonus core triplets! Bravo reddit. Bravo.
This is the first time i’ve ever written a review for an app, but this app makes it so easy for me to follow the RR. The app is simply just a way to track your progress and workout doing the r/bodyweightfitness recommended routine. It lays everything out very cleanly and lets you look at all of the progressions and everything, and it also has the most important features you could have while not having feature bloat with poorly implemented less important features. It has a timer that when you click start it counts down 5 seconds before actually starting, it allows you to skip exercises in case you are recovering, it gives you text information about the specific workout, and it also gives you a youtube video that shows you exactly how to do the workout. It’s a really nice app and does exactly what you would want it to.
If you’re into body weight fitness, and want to put the progression of the book Overcoming Gravity into use, this app easily lets you progress through the exercises while retaining EVERYTHING! It even lets you continue your workout weeks later if you stopped in the middle. AMAZING APP! I never write reviews, but this app deserved it. Ever have a feeling like, “If I could program, I’d made an app that does THIS…” THIS IS THAT APP! 😎💪🫡
Just a simple well done app
Great framework. Getting me back in shape. I like the options for the short or long workouts.
Extremely helpful app for tracking. Love the timers and the explanations of exercises, most of which have photos and links to videos. Great stuff. My only complaint is that the graphics choice for the numbers (reps, seconds, etc) is illegible. I’m not sure if this was an aesthetic choice, or a bug with iOS, but I can’t find a way to change it in settings, and it definitely detracts from the overall utility.
