A Dance of Fire and Ice is a strict one-button rhythm game. Keep your focus as you guide two orbiting planets down a path without breaking their perfect equilibrium.

It's pretty hard to describe, but you should play the free online version on a desktop computer first if you are not sure if you would enjoy this game!

Features:

- More than 10 worlds, each introducing new shapes and rhythms. What do triangles, octagons or squares sound like? Each world starts with small tutorial stages and ends with a final test.

- Post-game challenges: Speed Trials for each world and a blisteringly fast bonus level for the brave.

- Calibration options: auto-calibration and manual calibration. This is a precise rhythm game, so use your ears more than your eyes when playing.

- Play new levels for free: more levels will be added over the coming months.

WARNING: This is a hard rhythm game. Not in the sense of note-spamming - for the most part all you have to do is keep a consistent beat - but this is a good test of whether you would be a good drummer. Keeping a beat is not very easy, and then weird breakbeats are added on top of that, so don't worry if you find it difficult!

bloody marvellous game

I am a 62 year old and damn well loving this game. The graphics and music are top notch.

A big bug

I can’t play the game because when I press it down it doesn’t do anything happened today but all of the other days it was working.

BUG FOUND!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and I’ve found a bug in the game. I don’t know if this is only for me, if my storage is bad, or is other people are experiencing this. I went to go attempt level 12, but it says I haven’t unlocked it yet, even if I beat level 6, it even said I beat the game too, cause I did. I have all the colours too, but yeah. It says I haven’t gotten level 12 yet, even if I did? Anyways, whenever I die, it doesn’t show the percentage completed, and when I do reach the end, it still says ‘congratulations’ yet it does the dying sound and doesn’t give me the win. Now I can’t get level 12 back and other stuff back. Great job game! Well done! I honestly used to love this game, but it’s just BROKEN.

WHY

IT CONSTANTLY MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM IN PAIN. NOT FUSTRATION. PAIN. ITS NOT FRUSTRATING ITS PAINFULL. IM BEING TRAPPED IN A RYTHYM BASED HELL WITH MY EMOTIONS BEING MANIPULATED TO ENJOY IT. BUT I STILL FEEL PAIN. I STILL SUFFER. (All that aside though it’s perfect, 5 stars. Sorry if you found that concerning. Now off to more pain.)

Great Game… Not On Mobile

I love this game, I’ve played it for a while but never on mobile. I have to say it works really well… for about 15 minutes and then it starts getting choppy which for me personally is a massive distraction. I can rely on only sound for the most part but from a mobile speaker or typical earphones it can be hard to follow the high hat in a few songs when playing for the first time. I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro.

The best

I played 20 rhythm games on my iPad so far this is in my top5 recommended. Why because it is at an affordable price, it has good music, it is perfect for beginners and finally addictive. I have been playing it for a month now finally completed every course. The only thing I do wish you add is custom songs that you don’t have to pay for. Also an editor so you can make your own maps. If you added this you would get more downloads. Any way great game in general would recommend.

Perfect!

A friend introduced me to this game, and I now have 70 hours in it (and I’m better than them). What I’m trying to say is that this game is impeccable! I love how unique and fun it is. It feels so good when you just get that level you’ve been working on for days. I have found a minor glitch, though. On the level Emomomo, if you pause during the countdown, the level background starts early. It doesn’t affect gameplay that much, but it’s just a pointer in case you feel the urge to fix it. Otherwise it is a perfect game with no issues!
