The language concepts presented (big/little, short/long, more/less, ect..) make this a great tool for speech therapy because I often target these areas with other activities. Also the sorting and matching tasks are great because you can see if the child is transferring skills learned to an activity .When I am working with language delayed kiddos, these are some of the areas I target. I love the simple story format that presents the concept...Mr. Big has a big house, Mr. Small has a small house (there is great visual representation of the concepts throughout (big man big house big items ect..) The comprehension games through out (find the big one, which one has more ect..) are great because they are within the story following when the concept is presented (this makes it more meaningful for the child). Even students with limited mobility can participate because answers are presented with big touch response areas. There is positive reinforcement when a child completes a task correctly that encourages the child to keep going! I think apps targeting basic concepts and skills for little ones presented in this type of story format with comprehension and activities embedded within is the way to go
