A Short Tale Reviews

Great game, have had to use online help though!

Really enjoying this - it’s definitely a challenge, which is a welcome change from many escape games. Have had to use some walkthrough hints, but it’s nice to have a game that takes several hours to complete.

However....I have noticed that my previous purchases of forever lost 1,2 and 3 are lost I hope not forever? I have to repurchase? Really? I LOVE these games, and a bit disappointed that my purchases weren’t avail to me anymore.

Too hard without a hint feature

Sorry but I wasted my money on this. I’m not stupid and don’t expect everything in a puzzle game to be obvious or what would the point be? But there’s no logic behind most of the “clues” ...it’s so random you just wander around in a room with little atmosphere collecting things and photographing them with little understanding of what they might be useful for.

Best room escape ever

This is absolutely fantastic value for money app. Hours of play, lots of puzzles, really challenging. Can't wait for the next in this series!

Another great game in the forever lost series

These are the best games money can buy and this one is just as puzzling even though it's just one room. Could do with a hint feature at times. When's the next one?

It’s almost perfect

Great game but had to knock it down a notch because there was no access to hints so I had to go to YouTube to see how to pass the “gears” puzzle which made absolutely no sense. Even after watching the walkthrough. All the other puzzles were fair.

Camera/Photo Album issue but still playable

Camera icon covers the photo album icon. You can work around the issue by going into the item menu and accessing the photo album that way.

Doesn’t display properly

Have tried this on my iPhone as well as my iPad. The camera placement covers the photo album, so you can’t access the photo album. It just takes another picture (which you can’t see). I would need to use two devices to play. Reached out to the company and have heard nothing back. It looks like it could be fun, but very frustrating.

Fun cooperative game

My son and I enjoyed solving this game together. We would work on it some and then take a break to mull over some of the puzzles. A good variety of puzzle types to keep us both entertained.
