AA Rescue Me

It’s absolutely useless. I would give it a Zero * and do it the old fashioned way. With my AA Mobility Card

More or less does what you expect, but has a lot of odd quirks. For instance, I’ve got an annoying “1 message dot” notification, and I can’t find what I need to do to make it go away. There was a great opportunity missed with app. The AA rates are the standard by which people claim travel expenses. Why are you not able to record trips in your car, and it lets you know how much it cost? The AA paper-based road maps used to be the best out there. I would have thought that they would have made their way into the app. It’s missing the ability to record the details of an accident, or where the closest AA approved garages are. Feels really thin overall and you are left feeling that South Africa’s premium roadside assistance service deserves a better app.

Currently the app is lacking efficiency, it lags and doesn’t work properly…hopefully AA can resolve this and make it better🤝

The new AA app is great... All you could need from the AA in the palm of your hand...

This app is a UX nightmare - heaven forbid one should have to rely on the app in an emergency. Besides things not working most of the time, it’s a nightmare to navigate and doesn’t offer much value or utility. Do over!

Totally useless and dysfunctional App. The response you get when clicking on ‘Reload’: Could not open database '3c925278-8352-4cc6-8db7-cf5132940763_45f02010-fe10-4ce9-b7e5-0e95e3e140f7': Could not open database Rewrite the app from scratch.

I am an AA client, have been for many years. I also have the AA armed response and its paid in full however when I go on my app it shows that I don’t have armed response which is a worry. How do I solve this please?

I’m not a member of the AA. I try to update my details but I see an error “LocalUserInfo with id 0 was not found” and it gets stuck asking me to enter an OTP that never arrives.

Absolutely, Absolutely USELESS APP!!!! I have not been able to get my code sent to me, as somehow it states that it doesn’t recognise my number. I have tried to phone the non emergency number, and Ive done this four times, yet NO ONE ANSWERS!! In desperation, Ive phoned the emergency number (which is always answered straight away) and they have tried to put me onto someone that deals with the app, they always say that they will call me back and never have. This has gone on for over a month. They have taken my money, but have not installed this app for me. I usually have high regard for AA, as they have helped me out numerous times and they are lovely, so I didn’t hesitate to pay for their App, but the emergency call out is absolutely not working and no one gets back to me in spite of always promising to do so. I would definitely not recommend this App as it simply just doesn’t work! Very disappointing!
