Amazing game, I will be playing it for awhile. Cross between dnd and slay the spire.
Tactical combat with different types of classes, spells, monsters, equipment and uses a card system to do it, Love the fact that it’s not overly complicated. I’ve only done 2 full runs and enjoyed my time doing them. You can even play your same profile whether you’re on iOS or Android! The game is free so do yourself a favor and at the very least try it out. I plan to purchase the additional content to help support the dev and this type of game.
charged me $30 on steam and $30 here again? disgusting

Oh my goodness I don’t want to gush but this is an incredibly fun game that is easy to get into, has good depth, and huge replayability! The game has deck building elements, rogue-like elements like DnD (I am guessing the dev is a huge fan of DnD?), and board elements. Each dungeon run progression can be saved so we can just jump right back into a run without losing progress. View is top-down and the sprites are so goofy and adorable. The dev isn’t predatory like in some other games and doesn’t bombard us with ads for in-game purchases. Sure there are some DLCs but they are not required to enjoy the game. This dev and game is a 5/5.
I have put in several hours and am just beginning to truly expand and experience the game. Progress is incremental but definite and measurable. You will definitely play novice as you level up your characters early, which makes it all the better when you’ll no longer need to. It’s very much like many TCGs you may have played but it has more polish and depth than most. Definitely get this and support its development by picking up some expansion content, it legitimately improves the experience; this isn’t paid content for a chance at better stuff, each one truly expands upon the game. Cheers to everyone involved in crafting this game, well done!
I’ve never played MTG or D&D, which the developer has said this game is a mash-up of, but this game is absolutely amazing nonetheless. I’ve spent loads of hours playing and haven’t even come close to feeling burnt out or bored; the events of the game changing each playthrough keep it feeling extremely fresh and exciting while the sheer amount of summoners, cards, & artifacts allow any playstyle to shine. I will say, the graphics were kinda goofy at first (the look up feature lol), but this can be turned off (although I have become charmed by it). The developer is a one-man show, but is absolutely the most active and engaged developer I’ve ever come across - he’s extremely responsive on Discord regarding gameplay, bugs/support, deck building, and takes issues regarding any of the above seriously. Even if this game doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, it’s the only mobile game I’d recommend you give a chance!
This is one of the best games current.y on the market. Unlike most of the mindless click and win “strategy” games out there, this one is a CHALLENGE. You actually have to think, plan and strategize; I got wrecked on my first play through on normal. Winning is not guaranteed, but, from what I can determine so far, there is no single route to winning. I chose a fire mage to run with and ended up fighting the red dragon (fire proof). I figured it was game over, but with just a few hit points remaining, I accidentally stumbled upon a new strategy and snatched a victory! The in game currency, gold, is not abundant. You cannot buy everything, so you must make decisions on your purchases - do you want to hire that tough barbarian, or maybe get a bow to make your rogue more lethal on the battlefield? You must decide. Ross, I’ve seen comments here and there that a multiplayer beta is in the offing. Please don’t make the game dependent upon multiplayer, if you add it; not everyone enjoys that, and it’s lack is one of the reasons I like this game.
Don’t make any purchases in the app. Apple will refuse a refund for anything that doesn’t work and there’s no way to get what you buy.
