Absolutely love this! However I haven’t finished it yet…
It had me really excited in places where the puzzles were genuinely individual and interesting, reminds me of about a decade ago when I was playing games like The room, sword and sworcery and machinarium. I was looking for a new indie game to try and this really surprised me and I’m so glad I tried it. Honestly smth I would’ve expected to pay for, however I haven’t finished it yet so I’m not sure how long it’ll last
I hope it continues as good as it seems to far (time to start 3)
Very Clever
You play an excellent game, but the outcome is not what players may believe. Wonder idea
Gave me goosebumps!
Very short but very sweet. A Genuinely well written si-fi story game with complex puzzles, some that really challenged me. Definitely recommend!
Really well done!
I’m not usually into text based games but this was truly enjoyable and I connected with Able Black on many levels. The desperate search for connection, the emotions that isolation brought forward and the questions that all made me ponder. Excellent experience, I don’t want to called it a “game” because it is so much more. Big thank you to the developer, Skot. 5* for me, please make more.
Great game, I wanted more
Really entertaining, well thought out and written. I just wanted it to be longer.
Brilliant. Wish it was longer
I just finished playing Able Black, but I was hooked enough to experience more. I wish I knew this game earlier. It truly deserves more recognition for it is so underrated. Every element of the game was exciting; the eerie soundtrack, the dark aesthetics, the sophisticated puzzles and the simplistic design. Most importantly, the story was too intriguing. The developer should write a whole series. You can really hear the characters in your head when you dive deeper and deeper into the story. Thanks Skot. You better make more of these masterpieces in the future. :)
Simply beautiful
Sometimes a puzzler doesn’t satisfy because it’s filled with quiz after quiz, or riddle after riddle. Able Black is a prime example of how you can be entertained with the writing and text this creator has poured himself into.
Too short!
Really liked it, just wish it were longer!
Also, some of the puzzles got repetitive. The left notes with words ones, especially. Once you knew how to do it, they’re too easy.
Love this game!
Simple, excellent puzzles, but grips you somewhere deep. An excellent game!!
Gorgeous.
A stunning little game. The only negative thing I have to say is that is wasn’t long enough.
